anyone else concerned by the general disregard for consent in this sub sometimes?
i know a lot of this sub is roleplay, but some of it clearly isn’t. i’ve seen way too many people unironically trying to straight up manipulate, coerce, or trick their partners (usually men trying to pursue anal with their longterm wives who have not agreed to any such thing) into doing anal, having never even told their partner that they enjoy anal.
it’s genuinely disconcerting how many people in bdsm/fetish subreddits seem to just not know or care about consent, even outside of fantasy. there are people deadass asking for advice on here about how to wear their partner down into saying yes to anal.
i joined this sub to see people who were happy in their lifestyle enjoying their fetish, not to see people trying to coerce their longterm spouse into something they’re unaware their husband has been secretly fantasizing about for years. it’s really sad. i hope we can do better.
