i’m pretty new to all of this and honestly have basically zero dating app experience 😭
lately i’ve been wanting to explore bdsm/kink a little more seriously, and i’ve seen people talk about Feeld and Fetlife a lot here. but at the same time i keep seeing posts saying there are more vanilla people or just creepy/disrespectful guys on those apps now, which makes me kinda anxious.
i’m little scared of running into someone i know irl or having people judge me if they found out i’m more sub. and since i’m inexperienced, i’m worried i might get manipulated or lied to by someone pretending to be “experienced” in bdsm.
i don’t expect some perfect fairytale experience or anything, i just genuinely don’t want to get hurt while figuring things out.
for people who started online with no experience, maybe what were some red flags you learned to watch out for early on? or there were any apps/spaces that actually felt safer or more respectful for beginners?
