[MxF] You're everything I've ever hated
[SCI-FI, Dystopia, Potential Slow-burn Romance]
2226, It's been 200 years since humanity's first contact with alien life, though unfortunately, it wasn't the first contact everyone was hoping for. It just took more than half the population for humanity's greatest minds to figure out a way to take down their Alien Invaders called "The Faeric". Plan was simple, study the alien technology and build ships of our own and deliver a bio-chemical weapon to their homeworld meant to spread throughout their population like wild fire causing a moment of excruciating pain and torment before ultimately shutting down their internal organs. After their Homeworld turned into a dissonant planet, every Faeric colony was located and met the same fate.. or atleast that's what The Federation tells in the daily ads to join the Space Force.
Even with us being so far into the future, The Faeric still haunts us. From what The Federation's scientist's claim, The Faerics's last Hoorah was to hit us with their own last bio-chemical weapon just before the last ship hit the ground. Randomly, at any given time, a human would "awaken" with abilities one would only read in fantasy books. They'd go feral with these abilities, attacking anyone and anything in their sights, even with the advancement of medical technology, no one is able to trace nor treat the source of this reaction, or rather those in power have grown tired of this issue and decided it wasn't worth their time?? Whichever it is, these 'cursed' humans are given the name "Relics", hinting that they're cursed by the ancient alien race that almost wiped humanity out.
With the Government doing half-asked efforts in dealing with 'Relics', business opportunities arise. Monolith Overseer specialising in private security, private military and Relic extermination. Wherever there is a rampaging Relic, you best vacate the area before The 'Wardens' show up with Relics of their own.

[CONTEXT]
MONOLITH OVERSEER: A company funded by the government to deal with Relic awakenings. Though their expertise goes beyond just Relic exterminations.
WARDENS: The Exterminators/Agents for Monolith Overseer, known to be the embodiment of what humanity had to become to face the Faeric. Their job is simple yet brutal and heartless, locate and exterminate Relics. The Overseer points and The Wardens shoots.
REMNANTS: Remnants are Relics who were able to keep their intelligence and have full control over their abilities, though they are forced into operation by Monolith Overseer to turn them into puppets for The Wardens as Relics possess a passive ability of tracking/locating other Relics. Cooperation or death, That is their duty and use.
What and Who I'm looking for.
This is a Handler x Tool troupe. View it as a partnership similar to K9 unit and it's Handler for the police, only this time the "K9 unit" is despised by the Handler.
YOUR CHARACTER: Will be a Remnant, one of the few who are able to keep their intelligence. You may choose whatever gifts/powers they are capable of.
