hello I have only ever done mescaline and mushrooms in terms of psychedelic drugs. I have done mushrooms several times but only tripped on mescaline once

but I think I like the mescaline more. for me, mushrooms get really really weird. My mind kinda stops functioning in anything resembling a normal way. I feel like it tells me all the secrets of the universe, but you are so far gone that you don’t actually understand any of the secrets they tell you

mescaline keeps my mind pretty well in tact. mescaline left me pretty reasonably in control of the experience. I think mescaline is very powerful for something like self help. mushrooms feel like I’m getting the secrets of the universe in a way I don’t understand, but mescaline gives me like the secrets of my place here in earth. and mescaline is so clear headed that the lessons make sense and can be remembered/felt for weeks after the acute effects wear off.

mescaline doesn’t feel recreational to me. nothing about it was particularly fun. more so just like a powerful heart opening medicine.

honestly I don’t see mushrooms as super fun either but I can see how they might be used recreationally.

but yeah mescaline was chill as fuck and wasn’t as anxious as mushrooms for me and It felt super spiritual and shit like there’s a spirit in the cactus
