Do you ever befriend girls for the sake of increasing your social circle game?

Recently I met a girl who I’m not into but she’s clearly into me (heard from a mutual friend). Despite not pursuing her she keeps inviting me to these parties. Through those parties I met even more girls who I’m interested in, and because this one girl who invites me is super into me, it really increases my perceived status when she constantly tries to talk to me at these events.

It got me thinking. What if there was a utility in not totally revealing romantic intentions to every girl you meet? Having the door open to have her invite you out and meet her friends could give you an opportunity to employ social circle game which could allow you to get girls who were previously out of your league.

I know this goes against general seduction advice which is usually to make intentions clear and only text to arrange a date. But thoughts?

Asked for her number, she says "I got a boyfriend but we can be friends" then gave me her number anyway

Had a good conv with this chick, then she said that. Do you think it means she's down for a fling and wants to avoid guilt? Or is she really just trying to be friends?

Do girls care if you have tons of followers?

Is this seen as the same realm as wealth and status? I have about 100k followers on IG, and I wonder if I should show a girl that when I am getting to know them, or not.
