Finally did it.
11 years of shooting and selling with NO clean time at all, and I now have 6 months clean. It took me getting set up and my house raided but I never thought I would get to this point. 2.5 months in jail and 28 days in rehab after that, 2 weeks in the hospital on IV antibiotics because I had a terrible infection in my leg from
Shooting, it healed up mostly but my right leg is still almost double the size as the left all these months later, my valves/circulation is damaged they said and it’s going to take a while before it goes down. I thought my life would be what it was forever. I’m 31 and was using since 20 years old. If I can do it ANYBODY can. I hope to move forward with my life from here on. I didn’t sleep for almost a month and it took a month for me to start feeling better even on suboxone. My ex I was with for 7 years who was never on any drugs wants to get back with me now that I’m clean (haven’t decided what I’m gonna do there yet), besides that everything is looking up though. . .i hope anyone who is struggling that reads this knows it is possible, it does get better. if you told me back in January i would be clean today and not needing dope to escape anymore I would have looked at you like you were mental.
