Hello everyone - i hate to bring it but after having reseached abit Im afraid to let this subreddit know that a fear that heroin maybe is the most lung damaging drug you can..

So I detoxed 3 weeks ago against my will, it was a forced detox by my family & as we all know, you can't force someone to get clean until they're ready. So plz I just ask that you don't judge me. Im planning on using again so obv gonna start out wayy smaller than my original sky hype tolerance - im not naive enough to think i can do this for very long, but im trying to start out slow & only use like once a week w the goal that I wont become physically dependent until I inevitably do lol. I just wanna try it out to test my willpower. But my question is this - since I recently detoxed and was a heavy user for over 10yrs, will I get any withdrawal after only one use if I dont use multiple days in a row? Does my past tolerance make this work differently than an opioid-naive person?

So in my city I won’t say where but it’s common here that we get ice (crystal) with every gram of heroin we get and are recommending/ told to smoke off foil to add a pinch of crystal in with the heroin to get a good hit and without the crystal it doesn’t really burn as well or vapour into a good smoke hit is this a common thing in other places or does it just mean the heroin where I am isn’t the best ?

Got some high quality #4 that I plan to sniff. It’s straight rock off the brick so I’m looking for some good (and easily accessible) methods for crushing the rock(s) into powder?

Once I get the rock into powder I always dump out my dose on a glass surface and crush that into fine powder using a large packing knife razor. But I’m struggling to find an efficient method to get the solid rock into an initial powder without losing any.

Any tips/tricks greatly appreciated. Happy nods!

I have 5 wraps/points left (UK), I dont get paid until the 27th, do i half each and only use it when the WDs start to get unbearable? When it's coming to the end of a beetle, the trail starts running a bit dark and eventually it will frazzle. Is it better to add a little bit more on before it frazzles to keep it going? As I can't recall if you even absorb much H from the frazzle due to the fact its just being burned.

Also is there a maximum amount of smoke you're able to absorb at a time? Therefore making big hits useless?

And last thing, does anyone else find that the reclaim from your tooter tastes like utter shit? I think this may be caused by me accidently breathing in and out of it if I nod out with it in my mouth, I have great dental hygiene but I can see how the condensation of my breath may make it taste ass.

I always assumed this was just me but whenever I relapse and use for a couple weeks, I can never sleep. I’ll smoke weed on top of it, Benadryl, sleepytime tea with valerian root. Nothin works. What do yall do in this situation?

Hey gang. A little while back I made a post detailing how I was 6 months sober. Well I’ve made it another 6 months and today I celebrate 1 year sober. A year ago I was sobbing on my floor while high on meth because I’d take meth to help my heroin withdrawals and I was desperate to quit this time. I caved of course and went to go get more heroin but fate intervened and I was arrested, jailed, then sent to rehab. I took a hard look at myself this past year and realized this life isn’t one I want, and it’s not one I have to choose. Anyway, I’ve been in this sub for a while so I appreciate you guys and anyone who needs help or a non judgmental ear, my box is open. As you know heroin addicts are probably some of the least judgy people in the world lmao. 🪐

Hello, I'm M19 and I need your help. I tried to inject myself earlier but couldn't get a vein properly even though they're visible.When I insert the needle, a slight pain starts and prevents me from pushing it in any further...

The last time I injected was at least two weeks ago, my veins have had time to rest since then

My question is, is the pain when inserting the needle normal, and when I find a vein, is it mandatory to insert the needle completely into the vein?
