My first encounter with Karen Lancaume was through Fuga dall’Albania, back when the internet was still pretty raw and finding full movies online actually took some effort.

There was just something about her that stuck with me long after the movie ended. That was pretty much the moment I started digging deeper into her work—and I’ve been a fan ever since, always on the lookout for more of her films.
