Midwest Femme (45) for Butch, bringing all the false bravado

Tentatively exploring dating again after a bit on my own but not quite ready to devote my energy to apps - I think this reddit approach is a happy medium, yeah? Let's get into it.
About me: cis, she/her, lesbian, femme, 45, tall and slender build, blonde, white. I don't work out, but I stay moving and I'm in pretty good shape. A friend once described me as "slightly grimy" and I felt so SEEN. I'm a clotheshorse and aesthete, but I'm also given to running around barefoot, collecting furniture from the curb, and stuffing cool bits of trash I find on the ground into my pockets. I don't have manicured fingers or toes or a 10 step skincare routine, but I clean up real nice and enjoy looking hot, because I am vain.
I work in nonprofit in SW Michigan, and my community here is super important to me. I am 90% certain I will never relocate. Something to consider if you're also super attached to where you live but you also plan to fall in love with me. Though I am open to chatting with someone long distance, if there is a legit connection I want to be able to meet up sooner rather than later, and need "closing the gap" to be a viable future option in order to invest.
Outside of work I enjoy DIY, old houses and old things in general, history podcasts, creating art, and hanging outside or wandering with no particular plan or destination. I'm listening to music constantly - my tastes are super varied and my playlists are poorly curated but I love to swap songs with others. I drink only occasionally, but I do smoke weed fairly regularly, the old fashioned way.
More aspirationally, I'm into live music, travel, camping, museums, and nights that don't end until the sun is rising.
I have kids. They are mostly adults and living on their own, with the exception of a soon to be high school junior I share with my ex, who is pretty great. I also have a dog and a cat. Honestly those guys factor more into my dating life than my kids at this point.
Ultimately I want to find my person, something solid, but I am not in a screaming hurry or discounting casual connections in the meantime. In a relationship, I am monogamous, loyal, and a bit of a caretaker but I also want to feel taken care of. I am submissive for someone who is trustworthy and understands the dynamic.
I have a type, y'all, and that is masc of center (butches to the front!), dominant-leaning folks with a high libido who are real comfy talking about kinks, needs, and boundaries too. I like all the shapes that bodies come in, but I am a little particular about how they're dressed. Individual style is a turn on. So are the kind of politics that support a free Palestine and don't villainize trans folks. To be clear: If you are even remotely terfy or maga adjacent, GTFO.
Also, please be over 30. Ideally over 35.

Taking a big, brave step here and posting photos because that seems to be the norm on this sub. As it happens, I have a really great selfie from just last week (I was really feeling myself) looking like a legit lady.
