My husband and I tried tested 2C‑B powder last night. We were hoping it would be a fun, occasional thing without the comedown we get from mdma or the intensity of lsd/shrooms(he's fine with it, I'm not sometimes). But honestly… it ended up feeling pretty underwhelming for both of us.

Here's how we dosed (we started slow since it was our first time):

First dose (10mg) - I felt a little wavy and floaty, calm but awake. Nothing wild. My husband said he wasn’t feeling anything yet, so we waited.

1.5 hours in - Still pretty mild for me. He said he felt “drunk-ish.” We added 5mg each to see if it would open up more.

1 hour later - Colors started popping for me, and I could see a soft aura around my husband. Room colors shifted a bit. Mood was good, but like normal‑happy, not drug‑happy. He felt calm and lightly visual. We decided to bump it again with another 10mg.

1.5-2 hours after that - We were watching dumb cartoons and laughing a ton. Very clear‑headed. My husband got kaleidoscope visuals. I got color shifts (purple to blue to green to orange) and some closed eye visuals. But it didn’t have the emotional depth of mdma or the “plugged into the universe” feeling. No deep talks, no big insights, just light, fun, but kind of shallow.

Overall:

It was a good night, but it felt a bit "empty". Like we never really “got there”. Makes me wonder if we dosed it wrong or just didn’t hit the sweet spot.

Edit: Forgot to mention, we both take adhd meds (amphetamines), but we took a week break from them before trying 2c-b.

Thinking about trying 2c-b. I’ve done plenty of other stuff, but I usually hate having sex on them. Everyone keeps telling me 2c-b makes them super horny though, so now I’m curious if that’s actually a common thing or if it’s just hype.

I’m not against the idea of getting fucked by my husband on it as I’m usually a pretty horny guy, but here’s my issue: drugs like mdma, 3‑mmc, shrooms, etc... always mess with my stomach, and that makes anal sex a whole hassle. It's not that embarrassing, just annoying when you’ve prepped your bum and then your body decides to ruin the vibe.

So yeah, second question: is 2c-b as "rough" on the stomach as mdma or 3-mmc, or is it generally easier to stay “ready” for some stuffing?

Just curious. I've got a history with lsd, shrooms, mdma, and 6apb, and I used to have a really good time with them back in my early 20s.

​Lately, though, shrooms and acid have been putting me in a really dark, heavy headspace. I'm working through some things, and it’s just not fun to be forced back to 'step zero' and face all that shit when I’m just trying to have a good time. As for mdma, I still love it, my favorite drug ever, but I can’t deal with the days-long comedown anymore - my job is way too mentally demanding for that shit.
