Married for a long time, in a solid friendship-based relationship – but I miss the excitement, the spark that turns into a slow-burning fire. Not a short-lived flash of passion, but something that lingers, builds, and ignites when given the chance.

I’m 50, GenX at heart, a mix of nerd and gentleman. Theater enthusiast (acting & managing an amateur ensemble), history and fantasy lover, crime noir consumer that will probably cry over a romcom, politically leaning heavily to the European left, lgbtq+ ally, and always up for great conversations, witty banter, and playful word duels. I work in the organic food industry, traveling across (southern) Germany and Austria. And yes, I’m more of a belly-bearded, dad-bod type—hiking through the Black Forest? Absolutely. Running a marathon? Not so much.
