Can meth be used medicinally or is it just a 'drug'?

I have never been able to focus, not so much in the adhd way, but rather in a cptsd hypervigilance way. This, along with my chronic pain, has lead me to become somewhat of a risk taker in terms of alternative methods of treatment. I've done Vyvanse and Adderall, and they just didst pack enough of a punch. Lately I have been snorting ice (about one large-ish line every week) in order to lock in and relax and do the things that I need to do. It seems to lubricate me as oil does a tin woodsman, allowing me to actually feel pleasure, do work, and have a somewhat coherent train of thought.

I don't foresee myself likely continuing after my current supply is gone, I don't get addicted to things easily, but I can't help but be wary of the risks, having seen so many people I love fall victim to addiction. I just wanted to try it out, because I feel you should always try new things in life as long as you have been correctly informed of the risks and are willing to face the consequences of your actions, which I have and am.

I guess what I'm trying to say, outside of attention disorder treatment, is there any basis for meth being used not only medicinally but also in a way that treats chronic pain?
