Opioids and benzos
I take 25 mg of hydrocodone for my chronic illness flareups, both of my doctors know I’m prescribed an opioid and benzo and I very rarely need them on the same day. However if I do need to, I take them at least five hours apart.
A lot happened today and I ended up taking my kloanpin an hour after the pain meds.
I used to have a bad problem with pills, but now they are all locked up and I can only get one dose at a time on my own. I have a tolerance to the pain medication but not as much the klonopin anymore.
The problem is I feel really tired and out of it. Like If I took a small dose of benzos to get high (instead of my normal dose, which is what I took today).
Any advice would be appreciated. I’m not asking for medical advice more so just support and if anyone is on both kinds of these meds and taken them together- what happened?
