Question for daily tap users. Want to see where my addiction and tolerance stand by comparison.

Does anyone have any experience getting on subs as a recovery tool?

I asked my GP about it earlier in the week. She admittedly knew nothing about prescribing it and asked me to come back next week so she’ll have time to research/ask colleagues. I read online that practitioners need an S8 permit and to complete training modules totalling ~12 hours in order to prescribe it. My psych said something about Turning Point potentially being able to help gain acccess to it. Should I try to see a doctor that specialises in addiction treatment?

Essentially I wanna know what my chances of getting a script sometime soon, if at all, is. Seems like they don’t prescribe it very much over here, but I don’t have faith in my ability to taper off on my own at this point in time. I’m also scared shitless of withdrawal as opioid WD sounds worse than benzo WD which was one of the most taxing experiences of my life.

Hi, perhaps a stupid question… but does anyone have any suggestions about how to keep some weight on when using daily? Or is weight loss inevitable?

I’ve had next to no appetite since starting to use Tapentadol 3-4x a day. Nothing sounds appealing and when I do eat, everything tastes bland. I don’t eat meals anymore… I just force myself to drink some juice and snack here and there.

I’ve lost 7% of my body weight in two months and I was already just barely a healthy weight (53kg/116lb at 5’6) before I started using.

The only thing I can think of that might help with my appetite is weed, but I’m not into smoking atm.

Which is the best out of Soma Dol, Pain-O-Soma, Prosoma & Carosokem.

Also, what’s a good dose when mixing with 100-150mg taps?

Hi, are some withdrawal symptoms still felt if you follow a strict tapering protocol? If so, which ones and how severe do they tend to be in your experience?

I only have experience tapering off of Xanax with prescription Valium so things were comfortable. Bit concerned that it won’t be such smooth sailing with black market opioids.

What’s everyone’s favourite? I’ve only tried Tapaday but find them to be dosed really inconsistently. Sometimes I feel nothing at all and other times I can’t keep my eyes open.

I know nothing will really compare to Palexia… but I’m wondering if there’s a better option for next time.

Is there anything I can do post-boof to protect my gut lining? Like how saline spray or water flush is used after snorting. Aloe vera gel/water concoction? Just water in general?

What I’m using seems very caustic. Painful to snort… so I’m concerned about damage down under.

I can’t get ahold of new ones for a week or so. How unsafe is it to re-use plastic syringes for boofing? If there is no…. matter….. on the syringe… is soap, very hot water and alcohol enough to sanitise? Is there even a risk of infection if I’m the only one who’s used it?

I know, I know. This is a very low point in my life and snorting is no longer an option for me.

Hi, I use and live alone. Despite my feelings towards dying being… more positive than the average person, I have a cat so I don’t want to accidentally die one day without having enough food and water put out for her because I really can’t guess how long it would take for someone to notice I’ve died.

It seems likely that I would not be able to Narcan myself. I’m new to opioids and have only been using for about 5 weeks. Are there any OD signs I should be aware of or anything I can do to circumvent an overdose when I’m alone?

Has anyone had any experiences with these? The ones I'm aware of have Spanish or a similar language written on the blister packaging. Are they likely to be counterfeit even if they come in blisters? The idea of genuine OC80s being on the BM over here sounds very unlikely to me.

Is there a way to get more than one consumed substance to show up on the graph? I can only see one at a time and would love to see the timing of the peaks and plateaus comparatively during poly drug use.

Looking for personal anecdotes on smoked or boofed taps as as the bioavailability of tapentadol when taken orally is only ~30% and it takes 45-60 to kick in.

I've snorted it a few times and the initial 5-10 min rush is great but it burns like hell and the effects wear off very quickly.

inb4 tapentadol hate... i appreciate the lack of nausea and inb4 IV -- i feel like that's a step too far.
