A Domme doesn't necessarily feel happiness because you bought her, for example, skincare. She feels happy because you thought of buying her skincare and there is a huge difference.

It was never really about the skincare, it was the fact that you were going through your day, and somewhere in the middle of everything you had going on , she crossed your mind and you thought, she might love this.

That is what brings happiness.

This goes so much deeper than skincare.

The coffee send you make as a little surprise, remembering something she said two weeks ago or sending a message saying "I know today was important, how did it go?"

It isn't about the grand gestures, it's about knowing that even though they are not standing right in front of you, they still exist in your thoughts.

Sometimes the most powerful way to say you are important is simply...I thought of you.

One of my favourite parts of a dynamic has always been asking questions, not to pry, but to understand the architecture of someone's inner world. The way they think, the way they feel, the way their past still echoes in their present.

There is a depth in people that may never show unless the right questions are asked. These make space for honesty instead of performance. What shapes you? What steadies you? What were the hard lessons? What do you still carry whilst trying hard not to?

The deeper I dive the more you learn to understand that your submission to me is not in declarations, it is in your revelations. It's in the moments where you let me walk into the parts of yourself that are not polished for the world. Yes I want to know your story but, more importantly, I want to know your mind.

Asking is my way of saying I don't want the version of you you've learned to present, I want the version of you that is real.
