I wanted to share my experiences and seek advice on finding legitimate SBs. Unfortunately, my journey so far has been riddled with scams, and I’m feeling quite disheartened.
In the past few months, I’ve connected with several SBs who seemed promising at first. They were charming, engaging, and appeared to be looking for a genuine arrangement. However, each time, I ended up getting scammed. One particular incident stands out: I met someone who claimed to be a college student in need of financial assistance for her tuition. After chatting for a couple of weeks, she asked for a significant amount of money to cover an “urgent expense.” Trusting her story, I sent the money, only to find out later that she had disappeared and blocked me on all platforms. It was a hard lesson learned.
I’ve also encountered profiles that were clearly fake or too good to be true. It’s become increasingly difficult to differentiate between genuine SBs and those looking to take advantage of SDs like myself.
