Hello to anyone who is seeking some reassurance about a hemorrhoidectomy! I am here for you!
I, 21F, am on day 6 of post-op from a closed hemorrhoidectomy.
If I could tell my past self from two weeks ago what I know now, I think she’d be a lot less scared about this surgery.
This surgery is not the “hell” or “nightmare” I read about AT ALL.
I know this probably seems really scary. I am not going to explain my account here in detail, but if anyone needs reassurance, has any questions or wants more detail: please feel free to message me! I know you are scared, and I want to help you!
If you don’t feel comfortable messaging me, I will leave you with a few things: BE BRAVE!! You CAN do this! You WILL get through this! Have a positive outlook, and start a stool-softening regimen a week before the procedure. I believe in you, and you will be okay, friend! ❤️❤️ I promise!
