First visit to Sharks in July - tips welcome!

I'm treating myself to two days at Sharks in July, Tuesday the 29th and Wednesday the 30th. I have a few questions to make the most of my visit.
I've already been to Samya in Cologne, but the nightclub vibe isn't really my thing, so I was thinking of two days roughly from 1PM to 10PM.
Are there many girls there in the early afternoon? I read that peak time starts around 6PM.
I would also like to bring a book to keep myself occupied between sessions, is that allowed?"
