Is switching to protocol worth it?

Hi everyone, I'm back again for more questions as you were all really helpful last time! For context, I began trying to induce back in February with just pumping. I then started Domperidone in May with a low dose and gradually increased it. I've now been on 90mg a day for a week.

I've also been taking progesterone as part of my hrt (as I'm a trans woman) and my understanding is that progesterone helps develop the breasts, but hinders milk production, which is why the protocol recommends taking, and then stopping birth control to mimick hormonal changes from pregnancy.

My question is this: Should I start to follow the protocol and stay on both prog+dom for a month or two? Or should I just stop the prog now and let the dom and pumping do the work? I've not had any milk or drops of any kind yet, and I'm starting to feel frustrated πŸ™ƒ any advice would be appreciated <3

Hi everyone, I've been thinking of starting dom to help with inducing (been pumping for a couple of months, not had any drops yet) and I was wondering whether a low dose (e.g. 10mg x3 a day) would still be helpful? I don't have any specific goals currently for how much I want to produce, only that I want to make at least some milk.

I understand it won't be as effective, but is a lower dosage of dom still going to help me induce, or would I just be wasting my money buying tablets that wont work?

I'm a trans woman which means I'm already paying for HRT, and I'd rather not add another significant medical expense on top of that. Buying enough pills for the recommended dosages of 30mg x3 or higher would be a bit over my budget currently.

This is a fantastic subreddit btw, thankyou to everyone for all the useful info on here!
