Kintsugi
They say in Japan there's an art called kintsugi—broken pottery is repaired with gold instead of hiding the cracks.

The breaks aren't erased.
They're honored.

Maybe that's what this body has been doing all along.

She's carried babies.
She's survived trauma.
She's endured abuse, broken bones, car accidents, heartbreak, grief, and years of believing she wasn't enough.

Every scar.
Every stretch mark.
Every dimple.

Proof that I healed.

For so long I waited to love this body once it looked different.

Now I love her because she never gave up on me.

Mando and Grogu tattoo update, my leg wouldn't stop twitching so we decided to stop for the day and do one more session in about a month.

Kinda mad at myself because I could definitely have sat through the whole thing, but stupid nerves in my stupid leg wouldn't stop. I mean, I want my legs to shake, but not for that reason 🤣💀
