Here’s a picture I probably wouldn’t choose to post, but for today’s challenge 😊
I definitely relate to what Sempi described about feeling pressure to hide my stomach as a plus-sized woman.
Of all the parts of me that I show in pictures, it’s probably the one I have the most insecurity about.
But even though my body doesn’t conform to conventional beauty standards, I refuse to hate it. I honor my body for everything that it has given me and everything that it has carried.
Tits, plaid skirt, & thigh-highs, oh my 🤭
When the week feels about a month long, at least there’s tits ☺️
As requested 🍑
Hm, my favorite terms of endearment: peach, cheeks, cake, derrière, bum. Ass, when referred to with admiration à la “Babe, this ass!”, followed by a slightly feral growl. 😏
Embracing it all
This picture captures a lot of the things that I struggle with the most when it comes to loving my body. My umbilical hernia and diastasis due to having hypermobile connective tissue, which can make my stomach look lumpy and make my belly button go off center (also, RIP to what once was an innie 😅). Plus, some days the stretch marks are more prominent than others, and this was a very prominent day. Nonetheless, I am incredibly grateful for all the things that my body has survived, and the practice of learning to love all the parts of me has been one of the most meaningful of my life.
Did I hear lingerie with bling? ✨
