Please stay in the north cove

With folks understandably worried about the real probability of increased patrols and risk of being ticketed, can anyone going sans clothing stay in the cove and not wander the entire length of the beach? I don’t know if these dudes are trying to advertise to the world that the beach is clothing optional, or they are exhibitionists, or they are just entitled jerks, but they are risking ruining this spot for everyone.

May 10th.

A little breezy but whatever. Me and a few other dudes on the north side. Some guy, fully clothed, with a metal detector came and got super close to all of us while he was hunting for his treasure. 🙄

More changes at Bonny Doon

We stopped and hoped to enjoy a fog free day but the wind was blowing hard.

New concrete track crossing and bike lock up rack.

Saw this guy mowing the path along the cliff... he said he was making it wider for the ranger truck to patrol.

Looks like the beach tent will be with us on future visits. 🏖

Thinking of visiting on Sunday, what's the weekend crowd like?

Hey everyone! Thinking about visiting Bonny Doon this upcoming Sunday! I've been to Red Rock way up north in Marin county and was just wondering if there's anything in particular I should know about Bonny Doon? Also, I've never been to a beach that's mixed with textiles so I was wondering if anyone could explain to me the etiquette of how that works, too.

Thanks! Just looking to soak up some nice and sun and not cause any trouble! ^^

Any one else going tonight?

I don't know if it will be warm enough, but my wife and I are planning on stopping by the beach after work. Catch the sunset. Hopefully we won't be the only naked ones at the beach.
