RIP r/sangregorionakedbeach

The subreddit r/sangregorionakedbeach has been banned for being unmoderated. It was started Sept. 2025 after the previous San Gregorio nude beach group was banned for also being unmoderated. I hope I didn't influence that decision by starting this group just 2 days prior....I will be adding co-moderators to avoid that happening here. If you were a regular contributor to sanGnaked, please post here. I'd like to have a nice balanced group here that informs nudists all over, as well as local regulars, about our very special beach......Weather reports, crowd vibe, ranger activity, beautiful pictures, related beach information, links to other area nude beaches, etc...So many people have loved San Gregorio nude beach for 60+ years. I myself have been visiting for 25+ years.

Property Line Of San Gregorio Ranch

This photo shows the end of San Gregorio Ranch property where the yellow line is. The white T is the Trestle area from the old Ocean Shore Railroad. All of the beach north of that is private property and outside of any jurisdiction by rangers.

Fake news/False alarm possibly about nudity ban.

The web pages for every agency connected to San Gregorio Ranch including POST, Friends of Santa Cruz Parks, and CA State Parks do not have any wording about no nudity. A couple of the news articles reference to state law but do not specifically state a new ban on nude use. Technically at every know nude beach in California it's illegal, but informally accepted as long as there's no complaints. San Mateo County Sherrifs have better things to do than go after nudists. Grey Whale Cove is an example of that. For the time being It's still POST property (To the high water mark & north to the property line) and not yet under the jurisdiction of State Parks until next year when it will be donated to the state.
