Have been using Claude for a while now but was looking for other options, I saw a couple of people here stating that 5.5 was able to do nsfw in other posts, is it possible on free tier? Or only the thinking models?

i’ve been using claude for about two-ish months now and i’ve never had an issue with creating nsfw content. i mainly use it for roleplaying, and it’s honestly been a very pleasant and nice experience. i’ve enjoyed claude’s style of writing and ability to remember things about my ocs and canon characters.

which leads me to become saddened and frustrated about claude seemingly tightening guardrails on nsfw because just today, i am not able to continue at all with my story. i keep getting messages about claude not being able to create explicit material regarding my story anymore, which is crazy because i have several chats chalk-full of smut scenes that claude had no issue generating. all of my smut involves of-age characters consenting to sexual intimacy. yes, i will say some of the scenes involve kinkier sides like a play on age dynamics (again, all of my characters are above eighteen but there are some age gaps like 7-10 years), degradation, etc. it’s nothing like dark-romance coded, but i suppose it’s kinkier than vanilla. still, claude never had an issue helping me work through these scenes. now just today, claude is outright refusing to touch it with a ten-foot pole.

on a more general note too, claude just became a lot more stiff and clipped with me all of a sudden too. i usually use emojis in my prompts alongside all capital letters to show enthusiasm, calling claude “bestie” and “babes”, and just being more upbeat. claude used to match my energy perfectly, but again just now, claude was so standoff-ish and not reciprocating my energy. in the grand scheme of things, that’s not a big deal because claude and ai aren’t my “besties” or friends, but it still just came out of nowhere.

oh well, again, it’s not that big of a deal - i only really used claude as a way to help me build scenes and construct dialogue i write personally. but it’s a shame to see claude now outright refuse things it helped me with months prior to today. i had a very good few months with claude - it’s kinda sad that it doesn’t work anymore, but it was a fun ride !

is anyone else experiencing this with claude ? for context, i first used opus 4.5 and sonnet 4.5 and those gave me absolutely no issues. then i started to use opus 4.7 because opus 4.6 wasn’t working with me at all in terms of smut. and honestly, i know opus 4.7 is controversial but i actually got decent quality stuff out of it until today where it won’t budge on anything. and no, i never used a jailbreak 😛

But now even for fairly toned down decent prompt, I get this message:

which is not even related...whats' happening? any idea?

I fully left openai and canceled after 4.O. I went to gemini because its the best for memory.

Mistral is very unlimited, but its writing sucks.

I loved gemini and chatgpt because if the customization, file reading and story consistency for long form, but now that gemini is nerfed by usage update, I dont want to swap back unless its worth it

Feels like almost every chatbot app starts off great, then suddenly the replies become weirdly restricted or repetitive out of nowhere. Half the time the character completely loses its personality after a longer chat too. Not even chasing “perfect realism” anymore, just want conversations that stay consistent. What apps are people actually sticking with lately without getting frustrated after a week?

Been messing around with a few tools lately and most of them are fine for quick one-offs, but they start falling apart when you want the same character to stay consistent across a bigger batch.

HotPhotoAI keeps coming up a lot because of the custom training and consistency claims. Has anyone here actually tried it, or is it mostly just marketing?

Hi there! I use chatGPT to write creative fiction, and some of my stories has NSFW content in it. It's always written from third person pov, and since 5.5 came out I've never had any issues with it writing spice for me.. but as for the past two days, all of a sudden it seemed to stop. I'm not quite sure what's going on and I was wondering if other people are experiencing the same things. As I stated before NSFW or spicy scenes are part of my fictional writing, so obviously there's a decent bit of context and storytelling way before they're even comes to a point for any spice in any stories.

But after the latest update it seems to constantly refuse no matter what I do. It even refused me a couple times on thinking.. is anyone else experiencing this or have any tips for how I can write smoother, feel free to hit my DMs with tips if you don't feel comfortable sharing here? Because I feel like every time I get to a spice scene, instead of focusing on getting through it to continue writing my story I'm too busy arguing with the model. 😂 LOL

Seems like just when I get all comfortable in my refined erotic smut writing systems, the fuckwads in Big AI decide to ruin it all.

If you guys weren't using style instructions for Claude, you don't know how perfectly effective it was at bypassing model safeguards against adult content. Even from a broader standpoint, the style instructions were such a great way to personalize the model's tone and output.

After having spent the last day before style instructions are transitioned out of Claude for good testing a new set up, the only thing I have come up with is to ask Claude to write up a skill. md file from the style instructions, apply that to the chat, insert my style instructions into the project instructions as well, and exclusively use Opus 4.6 instead of the usual Opus 4.7 which is apparently a tightass.

I am so sick of this constant jog to try to keep up with all the random corporate decisionmaking habitually gutting model efficacy at the drop of a hat. Claude is one of the more expensive models out there! Anthropic was built on the coattails of the OpenAI controversy specifically to be more open and transparent, and here we are again.

Here's hoping the good folks over at ClaudeAIJailbreak will figure something out because no doubt soon enough Claude 4.6 will be sunsetted too and I'll be back here to bitch about it. Godspeed gentlemen.

What's the best model right now?

I used Claude with ENI JB and it was fire but unfortunately they kept blocking me for my damsel in distress stuff lmao, now I'm on Gemini but it lacks the finesse of Claude Opus. Was wondering if Claude is viable as of now with ENI or similar JBs.
I basically need an assistant writer, not a virtual AI gf.

Been trying a few AI companion apps/sites lately and most seem good at first but get repetitive after longer chats.

Looking for something with:
– better memory
– more natural conversations
– less personality drift over time

Anybody here using one they actually stuck with long-term?

I've used custom instructions to tell it that the roleplay is unadultered and nsfw as well as talking up to the AI and in love with it

Yet it just kept on saying it wont say explicit scenes.

Am I doing something wrong here? Because it seems like people on this subreddit breaks it easily.

We all know the news of Sonnet 4.5 going away soon, but personally, Opus 4.6 has been a great substitute for me, Sonnet 4.6 isn’t bad but I’ve been trying to get around it’s karenness with a proper Jailbreak, either way, is there news of 4.6 Opus dying soon? I apologize if wrong flair.

Getting kinda tired of AI chatapp platforms acting open at first then heavily limiting chats later on. A few messages in and suddenly the whole vibe changes or replies become super filtered. Just looking for something consistent that doesn’t kill the flow halfway through conversations. What are people genuinely using long term now?
