Finally booked the trip. Not sure what to expect. We have been to temptations and weren’t fans. It seemed like everyone was set with their own groups and honestly was too many rules for being a topless resort. We are heading to DRM and are hoping it’ll be a little more fun. Hey y'all, we're heading down in September and I was wondering what are the premium upgrades, and how much do they cost? Is it per bottle or like a wristband for the visit?

Has anyone used the gym at Pearl? First trip booked in August and we would like to use the gym once maybe twice during our short stay. Any idea what equipment is in it? Clothing optional too?

We are in the process of booking a holiday for the end of July to Cancun area. We like the look and sounds of desire resort based on what we have read. We are couple where she is a hotwife, and we're just wondering about others experiences with this and it being a couples only resort
We do play with couples but prefer single males if that options is available. We also have thought of temptations but feel that desires is more up our alley.
Any advice is much appreciated.
TL;DR - We want to book 2-3 nights at Pearl, then head to a conventional resort for 4-5 more nights.
We want visit Pearl for a couple nights to take in the vibe as first-timers, be naked, and enjoy some exhibitionist fun among consenting adults. Not in the LS, but LS friendly and no judge; It sounds like an amazing place.
So, after those nights, can anyone recommend a spot near(ish) by that is 18+ (i.e. "no kids", not in the sexy sense) and offers a more private or quiet section/entire property? Typically when we go to the DR (for example) we opt for rooms in the "VIP" sections of a resort (last was Secrets Royal Beach) or a boutique resort that is inherently smaller/more private.
Basically we don't want to be surrounded by a ton of people in general, lots of kids specifically, and avoid the college party crowd (either by timing, price point, or both).
Related Q: Pearl first is the correct play, eh? Have a lot of naughty fun and bring that sexually charged energy with us to the other resort where it's just the two of us, riding high on the fun we had? That seems more the play than going after, and then heading home right away :P

EDIT to add: I know I could Google, but figure I will get very good "boots on the ground" recommendations from people who know the area thanks to frequenting Pearl, can afford Pearl, and have perhaps logged some good stays at other nearby resorts as part of their travels that met their expectations for quality and crowd :)
My partner and I will be visiting Desire Riviera Maya in a few weeks, and we’re really looking forward to relaxing, reconnecting, and meeting good people.
We’ve traveled quite a bit and tend to love resorts with a sexy, open-minded, clothing-optional vibe. We’ve had Desire on our radar for a few years, and the reviews have made us even more excited to finally experience it.
That said, the community pages and Reddit posts have been both exciting and a little intimidating. Some posts make it sound like you need to be ready to jump straight into a 20-person orgy or stay home. Others make it sound like exactly what we’re hoping for: a respectful, consenting-adult atmosphere where different kinds of connection are accepted without pressure.
We’re very comfortable with our boundaries, and we’re not going in with a checklist or expectations. We’re hoping for great conversation, fun social energy, new open-minded friends, and the freedom to enjoy a break from everyday life. We love places where the naked body can simply exist without being immediately sexualized, and we’re hoping Desire has some of that same ease and acceptance.
Long story short: we’re excited, curious, and assuming that social media tends to amplify the extremes. We’d love to connect with cool couples ahead of time who will be there around the same time and might want to meet for drinks, dinner, pool time, or just good conversation.
