Heading to desire pearl from our first time in September. Would love to hear everyone’s most recent experiences at the resort. How busy was it, what was the typical age range, theme nights, jacuzzi activity, etc. :)

My wife and I are planning our second trip to Desire RM for our anniversary, arriving August 21. We had an amazing first visit and can’t wait to go back.
I’ve heard from several people that if you’re staying in a Garden View room and you’re not a Premier member, getting dinner reservations can be pretty difficult. Some have even said they couldn’t get reservations at all, despite getting there early.
On our first trip (about a year ago), we only ran into one issue. One evening we were told the only way to get a reservation was to purchase a bottle of wine, which honestly felt a bit like a bait-and-switch. We were only there for three nights, so it wasn’t a huge deal, but it did leave me wondering.
For those of you who’ve been recently, has anything changed over the past year? Are non-members still having trouble getting dinner reservations, or has the situation improved? Any tips or recent experiences would be appreciated.
Additionally, I wanted to hear where people are finding the best rate to book reservations. Directly on the site the cheapest rate was around $635 per night per couple however I found that it was about $400 less expensive to book on Booking.com. Let me know where people have the most success.
