Parking?

Sorry if this has been asked. Read through the wiki, tried searching. We understand that lot G is where to park. Can't find ANYTHING about costs. Do they take cards?

Looking at visiting for the first time on Wednesday. Any helpful tips for newcomers are also welcome either here or in DM.

Best oils to use to get tan when you have pale skin

i’m still relatively new to this and I really wanna get hand and dark with this. I have pretty pale skin so it’s gonna take a lot of work. I don’t even know where people tell me it’s all about the oil you use? Does anyone have any really good ones to get tan especially if you have pale skin

Blue Mat only 300ft down

Well the good news is the weather will be bad this weekend so you all won’t care there is only 300 ft of mat down. According to beach gossip, they are not going to be putting down any more this year. I’ll hope that it’s not the case and it was just too dam hot this week to finish the job. Not having the mat would really make it difficult for the older folks and those with walking issues.

Looking for recommendations on a new beach umbrella.

Want to take advantage of Memorial Day sales this weekend and replace my beach umbrella. Normally each season I just grab something from Walmart or Sam's Club but they always have to be replaced by the next beach season the following year so I'm looking to invest in something more durable and permanent. Usually I opt for umbrellas with the corkscrew base that drill into the sand but I'm open to alternatives for shade. I'm also looking to replace the wheels on my pull wagon with the proper beach kind that easily roll over sand.

Olá, you can use this thread to discuss Shakira's historic live concert in Rio. The concert will be streamed live on Globoplay for those of you in Brazil, and those of you who are not... best of luck.

First time for everything

Gunnison has been on my bucket list for years. Finally got there for the first time today. Weather was perfect!

Took me a while to get over my nerves, but felt great once I did. You only live once…

Can’t wait to go back!

I squeezed it in today

I had an early morning sales meeting in North Jersey and realized on the way home I had some gym clothes, a towel, and some old flip flops in my trunk so I made quick detour to Gunnison before myself for about 2 hours from 12:30 to 2:30. The beach had a nice crowd. The temperature and wind increased as you got closer to the water so if you were hot you could cool off or vice versa. I ended up chatting with 3 sweet female corrections officers for most of the time. For those single people worried about going alone it isn’t a big deal if you act normal and are friendly.
