Playing around with dark magic wasn’t something to be taken lightly, and it definitely wasn’t easy. Your character had probably been practising for months, going over every little detail of the ritual before even attempting it. everything considered it was rather simple. Draw the symbol on the ground, light the candles, prepare the sacrifice, three incredibly easy steps. Your character stood over the mark they had drawn on the floor, holding the book that had taught them of this ritual. Your character sucked in a deep breath before seeing the magic words.. at first nothing happened, it was quiet, almost too quiet, then the wind started picking up, it blew out the candles one by one in a perfect line, the mark on the ground lighting up, the wind started hurtling around paper, gadgets and whatever else your character kept in the summoning room, the mark growing brighter and brighter, forcing your character to look away so they wouldn’t get blinded,, once the light dimmed again, a creature sat there, with pale skin and eyes red as blood, it looked up at your character, grinning “hello, master\mistress~”

Plot: your character finds themselves in the woods, their eyes set on some great beast to slay, a stag. It was out of season, anyone caught slaying a stag now would be given as many lashings as the stag had points on its antlers. Though it was not out of greed from kings long past but out of fear for what the woods might do in retaliation to all.

Your character’s ignored these warnings however and now seeks one for themselves. Was it hunger that drove them here? Greed? Whatever the reason they find themselves deep in the woods with a stag infront of them, it’s cost as black as pitch, and 30 antler points. As the beast moves through the woods it turns towards your OC, straining at them as if it knows they’re there. before an attack can be taken the Stag walks away on the far side of a great elm… only to not walk out on the other side. As confused as your OC is they make not a movement before a raven Caws overhead. The large corvid stares down at your for a long, terrible moment before jumping off the branch, its dark wings spread wide until before their very eyes the raven morphs into the young man pictured above, holding a knife made of bone and flint to your character’s throat.

“Poacher,” they begin, face covered completely by their mask, “your heart is of chicken’s and cowards, should I free it from your chest?”

Hey! Hope this idea caught your attention! For some clarification Aventhis isn’t a true born fae, having been born human and later being adopted by the woods and slowly growing into something that is far closer to a fae. That’s it! Either continue in the comments or DM me.

Your OC is hiking a trail through the wilderness; whether it be recreational, to reach the next Inn/town over, or perhaps there's something more they seek from these woods. Locals tried to warn your OC with tales of a shrouded beast of unknown origins; there's yet to be any reported attacks, though sightings seem to only be growing more and more common. All anybody could recall are a pair of sapphire blue eyes piercing through the darkness before finding themselves awakening just outside the forest by morning.

The golden rays of the setting sun caste long shadows throughout the undergrowth, anything not bathed in the light's glory is quickly sinking into murky blues and purples. For the past hour or so, your OC hasn't been able to shake the feeling of being watched, and yet not a single sound out of the ordinary had been heard.

Furry characters are generally *preferred* though not at all required. Just do note that for lore reasons human characters will likely have a more difficult time romancing him.

Expect this to be a relatively slowburn. There's going to be *plenty* of one on one time, but even then he isn't the most romantically driven. Also do be aware this rp is very likely to open with your character being temporarily paralyzed by his poison, though rest assured nothing sus will come of it. He's not that kind of guy >:/
