Combustion recovery technique
I use a torch on all my TRWW vapes. I've noticed that most users who overheat the quartz caps typically just brace for impact, pull hard, and end up with a ruined, combusted bowl they have to scrub out. The trick is to treat the cap as a removable thermal battery. Once you sense that you're approaching combustion , remove the cap (the source of heat) and continue to hit the bowl as it cools down. Replace the cap and keep on keeping on.

Trying to decide between these 2 as my first quartz vape. Going to get a globe for them.
Which of these can I use a regular eagle torch with? I will get a big kitchen torch, but which one of these is the quickest to heat up?

My PID box has recently started to malfunction. The temperature read 900f+ on the PID, and it was still climbing when I stopped it.
Not a complaint post. I love the product, I just thought it was funny.
