I was digging through my collection of shit and found this nectar collector I bought from a glass artist years ago and I don’t remember who! I ended up dropped and breaking the tip 😩
Now I’m like wait will my Dynavap tip fit?! And it does! But it’s SLIGHTLY loose with a part chipped low exposing the o ring. obviously it has sharp edges too so this isn’t practical right now but I have a vision.
Does anyone think a glass blower would be able to salvage this and turn the tip into a dyna holder?🤩

Looking for recommendations from my reddit connoisseurs. I want so badly to stop my nasty blunt habit. I’ve stopped the habit many times but fall right back into them.
So I got a dynavap. It kind of works to cut back on my blunts but here’s what issues Im running into. It’s not convenient on the go. I need something I can smoke one handed that I’m not fumbling around with. Even with an induction heater it’s too bulky, I’m trying not to burn myself etc. so I end up just bringing a blunt. Being on the go is keeping me hooked.
This dynavap got shelved for a few months because I got the M7XL with the basic captive cap and IH. Not only was it a learning curve but I wasn’t getting good hits out of the basic set up. Before giving up on it entirely I got the cap bundle sale they recently had. HUGE improvement and got me back into it again. Also got the bb3 stem and bough this MJ arsenal mini rig and I’m definitely seeing a world of difference.
I can say I definitely love the taste of glass better. Since getting the bb3 stem I haven’t looked back at the metal stem. Hooked up to this mini rig this thing rips. But the bowl holding .1 I have to fill a few bowls and starts to feel like a lot of work. Current favorite setup is mx7l bowl (I prefer it over my halo bowl) with perforated cap and TI cap armor. I love the perforated cap alone the flavor is insane but the heat doesn’t last long so you can’t really rip it. Cap armor helps with that but I still feel like I have to pack a handful of bowls to get where I want to be. Waiting for the cool down, waiting for the heat up. It’s can be so tedious to get high. I’m a flavor chaser so I don’t enjoy OHE. But I also hate that I’m toasting the same bowl 2-3 times because it takes forever lol. I finally got my dynavap where I can hit big clouds and not make it taste like buttery popcorn but those big hits still diminish in flavor. I don’t want all my weed tasting like popcorn. But I don’t want to work so hard to get where I want to be.
What I’m looking for:
For on the go, I guess I would be looking for something more quartz or glass that will still give me that flavor I like? For convenience maybe something I can load with capsules or something to make it easier for on the go? Bonus points if it’s not a pain in the ass to clean. What’s your favorite on the go that still gives you great flavor (not popcorn) with lung filling clouds?
Eventually I want something for at home too. Whether it’s a tempest or a desktop, I’m looking for something that’s going to give me big FLAVORFUL clouds. Do I need a bigger bowl like the tempest? Should I get a desktop to stop all the small bowl packing?
Thees so many options out there so hoping someone can point me to the specifics I’m looking for. TIA!
EDIT: I was able to remove the TI armor from the perforated cap using pliers like suggested. Tried with the low temp and SS armor but it’s not budging. I think I got a defective one honesty so I’ll be reaching out to Dynavap.
So I bought the cap bundle and got it in the mail today. First time using all these different caps. I put the stainless steel armor on the low temp cap. I used it once and tried pulling the armor off because I heard it was hard and yes it is. So I gave up. Went to use it again later and after pulling it out of the IH the cap flew off almost landing on my barefoot. I guess when I was trying to get it off I loosened how tight the cap was fitting. So it falls on my shaggy rug and absolutely melts straight into the carpet before I could find something to pick it up with. The cap cooled and I wiped off all the melted carpet fibers off💀 but realize it looks like some is stuck between the armor and cap. So then im back at it tugging trying to “wiggle” it off like they say in the dynavap tutorial and naw fam this thing ain’t coming off! Putting it on a stem doesn’t work. The digger is just a little too tiny to grip onto. I can’t get this thing off for the life of me. After excessive wiggling and jiggling the cap is so loose on the bowl it just slides off nothing holding it now. I can’t do the little squeeze to the sides with the armor on so what tf do I do??? What’s the secret sauce? I tried tweezers but that’s not working. I don’t care if I scratch it at this point.
Now I sliced my finger open with the paper thin digger 😩 I’m too clumsy for this 🤦♀️😭
