Warm Vinyl

Didn't get to shoot as much as I wanted back in June, but my muse always brings the best energy to make sure we have fun with a concept. For this set, we took advantage of the perks of the location, using the various furniture—from the kitchen tiles to the hearth—to set a dark, intimate mood.

Definitely couldn't have asked for a better session to cut through a heavy wave of depression. The contrast of the ink, the platform heels, and the vintage corset against the warm low light gave us exactly what we needed.

Trying to get into boudoir

Trying my hand at boudoir style photography but struggling to find a good editing platform to adjust things like brightness, contrast, etc. that doesn't have restrictions with nudity. Does anyone have good recommendations on how they do light editing?

Window light study — colour or B&W?

Experimenting with window light, negative space and using the body more as shape/form rather than a direct portrait.

I like the colour version for the green panelling and stained-glass light, but the B&W feels more abstract and focused on the mood.

Interested to hear which version works better, and whether the dark negative space on the right feels balanced or too heavy.
