The largest sauna in Los Angeles. You can either rent a locker or a private cabin for a small extra fee. Membership is required (bring your ID); you can either get a 6-month membership or one day. The facility is on one floor. There is a lukewarm dry sauna. The steam room has been permanently closed and converted into more private rooms. There is an outdoor heated pool and a jacuzzi. There are two public play areas. There is no dark maze or any special play equipment like glory holes or slings. There is a gym with older equipment but otherwise fully functional. Condoms and lube are provided for free. Free covid tests as well. There is a mix of clientele; it all depends on when you go. There is a good mix of ages, body shapes, and races. The most popular times will be weekends after 10 pm through 5am or so. Plenty of younger men come around midnight and after during the weekends after the bars close. Slammer – Los Angeles (Sex club)

Popular times are weekends at night after 9 pm up until 3 to 4 am or so. A lot of action happens in the steam room and the public play areas. I went on a Friday night; there was a decent crowd. The clientele is a good mix of all ages, body types, and races. There is only street parking and can be a bit tough to find. You may have to park a bit away and walk.

Club San Diego – San Diego

Membership is required: either one day, 5 months, or annual (free for military). Bring ID as you will need it to check in. You can either pay for a locker or a private room. A towel is provided and free towel exchange is offered. Condoms are provided for free but lube is not. There are vending machines that sell lube along with sex toys, poppers, and slippers. There are two stories:

1st floor – wet floor: steam room, room temperature dry sauna, large jacuzzi, several public play areas, video room, private rooms.

Flex Phoenix - Phoenix, Arizona

Membership is required. ID is required to enter. You can either rent a locker or a private room. The place is one floor. Condoms are provided for free. They have vending machines that do sell lube, poppers, and other various gear. They have their own large private parking lot.

Sauna for Men - Charlotte, North Carolina

Located on the second floor of a strip mall. ID is required; they keep it for the duration of your stay. The place is pretty small and pricey for what you get. It’s single floor with a video room, lounge, moderately sized steam room, dry sauna that fits about 3 people, one shower, and lockers. Footwear is not allowed. Went on a Monday evening, and it was surprisingly busy. Overall, it’s a pretty decent option for the area.

Club Houston - Houston

Membership is required; you can either purchase a one day or annual. They hold onto your ID at check in, so bring your ID. You can rent a locker or a private room for an extra fee. There are two types of rooms. Some have slings while some just come with a bed. The facility has two floors.

1st floor - the wet area. There is a smaller dry sauna that doesn’t get very hot. There is a large steam room that gets hot and steamy. There is an outdoor heated pool and jacuzzi. There is a well equipped gym. There are a couple of vending machines with snacks and drinks.

2nd floor has private rooms and the play area. There is a video room and glory holes. There is a larger dry sauna.

There are times the sauna will feel empty because many people will rent rooms and hide in them. There are vending machines with food and drinks. They have their own
dedicated parking lot, but it is often full on weekends. Street parking is available.

The Z - San Antonio

Small local sauna. Membership is required so bring your ID. They do not hold onto your ID like the other two saunas in Texas. One day or annual membership can be purchased. You can either rent a locker or a private room for an additional fee. The sauna is one floor. There is a small dry sauna and a steam room. Showers are also available. There are about 15 or so private rooms available. There are smaller cabins included with entry. There are two video rooms with movies playing that also have slings and beds. Snacks and drinks can be purchased at the front. There is no gym, but there are two exercise bikes. I went during weekday, and there was a decent amount of people.

Club Dallas - Dallas

Membership is required: one day or 6 months. Bring your ID. They keep it while you are in the facility. The facility is one floor. There is a security check at entrance if you have a bag.
You can rent either a locker or private room for 6 hours. There are many private rooms available. If you don’t want to pay for a private room, there are small cubbies with curtains you can use. There is a large jacuzzi, outdoor pool, lukewarm sauna, and a steam room. There is a decently equipped gym. There are two dark mazes: one small and a larger one. One and a half video rooms. There are several slings and glory holes throughout the dark room. Douching area that stinks like shit. Most of the action happens in the dark room/maze area. Plenty of action occurs in the steam room and dry sauna as well. Club Dallas is the smaller of the two (club Houston), but there is a lot more action. They do have their own parking lot that is often full but plenty of street parking is available. Popular times are weekends after 9pm through 4am or so.

Club Philly – Philadelphia

Membership is required; you can purchase one day or annual. Bring your ID. You can either rent a locker or a private room. There are five floors.
Top 3 floors are private rooms and some TVs playing. There are also several play areas with
slings, couches, and glory holes.
1 st floor- check in, lockers, some gym equipment, and a bar.
Ground level is the wet floor with a small sauna, steam room, and showers.
I went Wednesday night; there were only a small handful of people. I believe certain Mondays
are trans nights and Thursdays have half off lockers. The sauna is tucked away in an alley.
Popular times are weekends after 9 pm or so through the morning around 4 am.

Crew Club DC - Washington, D.C.

Membership required: single day, 30 days, or 90 days. ID required to enter. Two options for entry: locker or a private room. Condoms are provided for free. Lube, poppers, and other gear can be purchased. There are vending machines with snacks and drinks. Towels are provided and can be exchanged. There are two stories (all the action is on the second floor):

1st floor - Front desk, small lockers to put valuables in, and a small lounge area with couches.

2nd floor - larger lockers, showers, large steamroom, dry sauna (often doesn’t work apparently), private rooms, and several public play areas/dark rooms.

There is no maze or sling. There is a large dark room with a podium and glory holes. There is a wide range of men of all ages, body types, and races. Plenty of young and attractive guys. Popular times are weekends after 9pm or so until 5 am and Sundays afternoons to early evenings.

Flex Atlanta - Atlanta

This place is big. Membership is required; daily membership or 6-month membership can be
purchased. Bring your ID because they keep it while in the facility. You can either rent a locker or a private room for 8 hours. Time cannot be renewed (I’m assuming people were abusing it and using it as a hotel). There are three floors.

2nd floor has the check-in, lockers, showers, and private rooms.
1st floor has the wet area. There is an indoor pool, sauna, steam room, more showers, an outdoor lounge/patio area, dark room with slings and a hanging bed. There are movies playing in the big public room.
The ground floor has a well-equipped gym. You need to be fully clothed with closed-toed shoes to use the gym. They will provide you with a key fob to access the gym.

I went twice, both on weekdays. There was a good mix of people of all ages, body types, and races. Condoms are provided for free. There is no dark maze. A lot of action happens in the dry sauna, steam room, and dark room. Popular times are weekends after 9 pm or so through the morning until 4 am or so. They have their own dedicated parking lot that is pretty big.

Adonis - Las Vegas
A relatively new sauna in Vegas. You can either rent a locker or a room for 8 hours (no
backpacks allowed, small clear ones okay). There are several types of rooms you can choose
from. The place is large and kept clean. There are two floors.

1st floor has showers, a dry sauna, public play spaces, and private rooms.
2nd floor has more private rooms, public play spaces with a Czech gloryhole, and video rooms.

The place is more so a sex venue/club with a dry sauna. There aren’t any other amenities other
than the sauna (no pool, steam room, jacuzzi, etc.). There is music playing on speakers. There are
many televisions playing porn in several rooms and in individual arcades. The noise can get a bit
overwhelming. It’s not blaring but still relatively obnoxious with multiple sources of sound
coming from every corner. I went on a weekday, and there were only a small handful of people
there. This place honestly has a lot of potential for some massive orgies. They have weekly
events, so check their website. They have their own dedicated parking lot with plenty of parking.

Korean Spas – Various locations
A lot of Korean spas are hot spots for cruising, especially in larger cities. There are a few in my
area that function as unofficial gay bathhouses; I will not mention any specific ones for the
business’ privacy. If you have any male only Korean spas or spas that separates sexes, there is a
good chance it is a hot spot for cruising. You can look up your local kspa and check the reviews
or on sniffies to see if it’s a cruising spot.

Mexico

Sparticus Sauna - Puerto Vallarta
One of the more well-known saunas. You can either rent a locker or a private cabin for an extra
fee. Slippers and towels are provided for free. There are three floors:

1st floor - the wet floor with sauna, jacuzzi, steam room, cold room (a room with an AC set at
25c).

2nd floor has private rooms, a video room, and the dark room. The dark room is there all the
action happens (pretty sure I stepped on shit here). Around a hundred men sucking and fucking.
It also stinks here.

3rd floor - rooftop bar and outdoor patio with a pool

Condoms and lube are not provided but can be purchased. FYI No one wears protection here, so
be on prep and doxypep. The clientele consists of a good mix of tourists and locals, mostly on the younger side. A lot of white gays™ with a sprinkle of others (I was the only Asian one there

Sparticus hostel – Puerto Vallarta

wristband. They have lockers that are wristband activated, so you do not need to bring your own
lock.

Riilax - Guadalajara
The most popular sauna in the city. It’s a community sauna with mostly locals, so brush up on
your Spanish. You can either rent a locker or a private cabin for a small extra fee. You pay at the
end of your visit. There are two floors:

1st floor – large steam room, dry sauna that doesn’t get that hot, and a large jacuzzi. The jacuzzi is quite a popular hangout spot to the point where the water turns quite brown. Most of the action occurs in the steam room. There is No dark room or maze. There is a small lounge area with non-porn movies playing and a bar that serves drinks and snacks.

2nd floor - private rooms and a sun deck with lounge chairs

There is no video room or maze. There aren’t really any public play areas either. Lube and
condoms are not provided but can be purchased. Busy on weekends after 5 pm and fizzles out
after 10 pm or so. The clientele is majority of locals of all ages. Plenty of younger men
here.

Polari - Guadalajara
The newest sauna in town that just opened a few months ago. The place is kept very clean. You
rent a locker as there is no need to pay extra for rooms as cabins are provided with entry. Towels
and flip flops are provided. There are two floors:

1st floor has a bar, a large jacuzzi/heated pool, smaller steam room, and lounge chairs.

2nd floor has private cabins, a large playroom, and the larger steam room.

There is no dry sauna. I went on a Monday, and there were a handful of people there: all locals.
The clientele seems to skew younger. Popular times are on weekends late afternoons and
evenings.

Sodome - Mexico City
The establishment has no sign outside. You buzz into a plain door to get into the sauna. Upon
entry, there is a security check. You will empty your pockets, and security will frisk you down. At the cashier, you turn in your phone. Flip flops and an apron like loin cloth are provided. Towels are provided upon request.

The main floor is an open area that has bar, a large jacuzzi, and small dark maze, several beds,
and a video room. The sauna, steam room, and showers are also here. There are showers that
open to the bar area if you want an audience watch you shower. I didn’t see anyone use these
though. The steam room is on intermittently, so it’s never really hot or steamy in there. It’s more
like a humidity room. There are naked go-go dancers and drag queens who perform on certain nights on the main floor.

2nd floor has the dark room/maze. During the weekdays or slow days, they close the main section
off and turn off the lights. It’s so dark you wouldn’t be able to see your own hand in front of you.
On weekends, they open it up. It’s a large cruising area with laser lights, beds, and a sling. All
the action happens here. Over a hundred men packed in sucking and fucking.

3rd floor has private rooms and a smoke deck. There is an area that is closed, not sure when they
open it.

The clientele here skews younger here. There are a lot of tops here, so this is bottom heaven.
Your hole will be ran through by the end of the night. On exit, you’ll receive your phone back
along with your receipt, which you will turn into security to let you out. Busiest on weekends
between 11pm - 5 am or so. I did go on a Thursday, and there was a decent crowd but not
crowded.

Cine Savoy (Adult theater) – Mexico City
This place is similar to regular theater but with porn playing and cruising. You purchase your
ticket at the ticket window before entering. There are two stories with two theaters: downstairs
has straight porn playing while the upper theater has gay porn. It is all men here. There is a
concession stand that sells drinks and snacks. There are regular restrooms. I went on a
Wednesday midafternoon, and it was surprisingly crowded. The clientele is mostly older 40+. There is a younger crowd on the weekends. Plenty of people sucking and fucking.

Japan

24 Kaikan Shinjuku – Tokyo
The most popular sauna in Japan. The place is foreigner and tattoo friendly. When you first enter,
you take your shoes off and place them in a shoe locker. It does cost 10 yen so bring coins.
There are two kinds of lockers: red tag and white tag. Red tag indicates you want a private room.
White tag is for entry to the sauna. After putting your shoes in the locker, you take the key to the
receptionist (staff speaks English). After paying for the entrance fee, you’ll receive a bag with a
robe and two towels. The sauna is six floors. The sauna starts on second floor with parking on
the first floor

2nd floor - reception, lockers, café (currently closed) and a tv room

3rd floor - the wet floor with a dry sauna, steam room that is intermittently on, a mist room, and
a warm room that smells like Parmesan cheese. Most of the action happens in the mist room and
the steam room. There are both open showers and private shower stalls here. Many people use
the stalls to have fun in private. There is also a large jacuzzi, cold plunge, and warm tub. There is
an open room with a sling and fuck chair thing.

4th floor - public play areas. There are several rooms with some of them connecting. There are
mattresses on the floor as well as bunkbeds. Everything is public here and people will try to join
in if you’re having fun with someone. There is absolutely no privacy.

5th through 7th floor - there is a small public room on the 5th floor. Everything else on these
floors are private rooms you can rent. A good place to stay if you ever find yourself without any
accommodations.

There is a good mix of clientele ranging from all shapes and sizes and plenty of very attractive Asian men. There are plenty of tourists as well as locals. Private rooms are available with fixed time slots. Any footwear is prohibited inside the sauna. The floor is pretty nasty. I’ve stepped on used condoms, and I’m pretty sure shit as well. Most popular times are on weekends between 8pm through 2am or so. Weekdays are also considerably busy as well between 8pm through midnight.

Bodybreath (Sex club)- Tokyo
This place is labeled as a sauna but it is not a sauna; it’s a sex club. It is located on the basement
floor. Look for the stairs going down to the entrance. There is a small sign on top of the stairs. You
must fit a certain standard to be allowed in (not fat, short hair, under a certain age, relatively
masculine presenting). However, the several times I went, they were rather loose about these
rules. When you enter the building, you take your shoes off and place them into a shoe locker.
You will get the key and give it to the receptionist. This place is cash only. There are different
rates. It’s 2000 yen for foreigners. There are discounts for students, people with gym
memberships, people with a big dick, etc. Reentry is allowed during certain hours. You must be in underwear while walking around. There are showers; small towels are provided. The place is mostly comprised of a dark maze with private cabins. Lube and condoms are provided. It’s pretty small and can get very cramp and crowded. Clientele mostly consists of locals, but many tourists also frequent this place. There are plenty of attractive men here. Many people do spend the night here. Bear’s Camp is connected to this place; I am not sure about entry requirements. You just ask the staff to gain access.

Hotel Adonis - Tokyo

A typical hostel but has a floor dedicated for gay men. Be sure to ask to be placed on that floor if you are looking for fun.

Corona club - Nagoya
The largest gay bath house and hotel in Nagoya. It’s foreigner friendly and tattoos are allowed. It is more so a gay love hotel than a sauna/bath house. The bath house section is fairly small. There is no dry sauna or steam room. Entrance is on the 3rd floor. At the entrance, you take off your shoes and store them in the shoe locker. You then give the key to the receptionist and pay the fee. It is cash only at 2500 yen. Staff will then give you a towel and a robe. There are two different colored robes indicating if you prefer younger or older men. There are several floors.

2nd floor - bathhouse with shower and a hot tub. There is a karaoke bar and a restaurant.

3rd floor - reception, lockers, bar, mini shop with snacks and drinks, large video room

4th floor – several public play areas and private rooms

5th &amp; 6th floor - all private rooms. There is a rooftop pool.

The clientele consists mostly of locals. The vibe of the place feels more like a hangout spot
compared to your typical gay bath house. You’ll see many people just hanging out at the karaoke bar and lounge area. Any sexual activities happen in certain areas. There is a large cross-dressing kink.

Senbon Nikkatsu - Kyoto (adult theater)
600 yen to get in. You only have access to the first floor. There is straight porn playing. The second floor is an additional 100 yen. It’s the same theater just on a balcony. This is where most of the action takes place. Clientele is mostly older business men.

Daikichi – Osaka
Similar to 24kaikan in Tokyo but smaller. You take your shoes off at the door after entering and put them in a locker. There’s a vending machine where you purchase your admittance ticket. A fairly popular sauna in Osaka, though not as popular as 24Kaikan Shinjuku in Tokyo. There is a good mix of both locals and tourists. Group play is really common here. There is no privacy, so if you find someone to play with, other people will try to join in. Popular times are weekends late afternoon until 11pm or so. Weekdays will also have a decent crowd between 8pm through 11pm.

Sports men’s club - Osaka

This is a rather small sauna where mostly locals attend. Staff does not speak English, but entry is pretty straight forward. After entering the door, you take your shoes off and put them in the locker. You take the shoe locker key and give it to the attendant. You then pay for admittance. The attendant will then give you a key to the locker to store your belongings on a different floor. There are 4 floors:

1st floor - reception, showers, douche area, and a small dry sauna.
2nd floor - lockers, public play areas. There are also two private cabins.
3rd and 4th floor - public play areas as well as a small sundeck on the 4th floor.

Clientele here are pretty much all locals. The only amenities are showers and a small dry sauna. The stairs here are very narrow; I twisted my knee walking down. The public play areas are dark rooms with mattresses laid on the floor. There is a smoke room in front of the wet area, which was pretty annoying.

Konpira onsen - Osaka

Officially the unofficial gay sauna. This place is not a gay sauna but patrons are 99% gay. It has become the cruising place for gay men. You take your shoes off at the entrance and put them in a locker. Unlike most saunas in Japan, you keep your shoe locker key with you. You pay admission at the front. Entrance is only 600 yen. You then get nude and place all your stuff in the locker. Towels are not provided, but you can rent one. Clientele are mostly locals. First floor is the lockers, hot tubs, cold tub, showers, lockers, reception. There are two separate upper floors. One has a hot tub and an outdoor area. The other side has a dry sauna and a waiting room area. Both upper areas are the cruising areas.

Shinsekai Kokusai Gekijo - Osaka (adult movie theater)

An old movie theater often frequented by older business and cross dressers. Random English
movies are played on the first floor, while Japanese movies play in the basement. There are two ticket machines in the front. One of them is the general admission (1000 yen) and the other is the basement floor (the special floor), which costs an additional 800 yen. You need both tickets to enter the lower floor. The general admission plays regular movies. Some action happens here. The basement floor is where all the action happens.

Taiwan

Soi 13 – Taipei

This facility is quite large and open 24 hours. Upon entering, you will pay for your entry (it does cost extra if you are a foreigner). There will be a worker that will guide you to your locker after paying. There are two floors:

1st floor has a large lounge area with reclining chairs, free soft drinks, and English movies
playing. The wet section has a steam room, a mist room, a lukewarm dry sauna, a jacuzzi, and showers.

Ground floor has the dark maze and private cabins.

Many people will spend the night here after clubbing all night. The clientele is predominately
younger Asians. Popular times are on weekends late afternoons up until the late morning.

Cambodia

Men’s Resort and Spa – Siem Reap

This facility serves as both a hotel and sauna. Staff is very friendly. Rooms here are very
affordable and provide access to the sauna without any additional charges. The sauna is on a
single floor while the upper floor has the hotel rooms. They have bar that also serves drinks and food. There is a large steam room that also serves a maze, a small sauna, an outdoor pool, and a large jacuzzi (it wasn’t very warm when I visited). There is also a small dark maze apart from the steam room. There are plenty of private cabins available. There is a moderately equipped gym. Massage services are available (I do not know if they perform anything sexual). Most popular times are on weekends from midafternoon to midevening. The clientele is a good mix of tourists and locals of all ages.

Sidenote: if you are in Siem Reap to see Angkor Wat, I recommend renting a bike right outside the park and doing the loops to see the temples. It was one of the most memorable experiences I’ve ever had.

Singapore

KeyBox - Singapore

Large and clean facility. There is a sauna, jacuzzi, steam room, and a gym. There are many private cabins. This place felt more like a sex club. Most of the amenities were not utilized much and a majority of the men were in the dark maze areas looking for fun. The clientele is predominately younger Asians.

United Kingdom

Sweatbox – London

Upon entering, you give the receptionist something to deposit, usually people deposit their
phones. This is the only item you’re allowed to have access to once you’re in the sauna. You will not have access to your locker once you’re in the sauna. There are several floors. You will receive a wristband that’ll give you access to certain spaces within the sauna. Ground floor has the showers, sauna, steam room, and a dark maze. The upper floor has a lounge area, the bar, and a jacuzzi. The clientele is pretty diverse with all ages and body types.

France

IDM - Paris

One of the larger and popular saunas in Paris. There are many floors to this place. PS the stairs are really narrow, so it may be difficult to navigate around if you are on the larger side.

1st floor – reception, gym, and the bar

The lower floor is the wet floor with showers, sauna, steam room, and a pool.

The upper floors have dark mazes and public play areas. There are also floors has the sex dungeons with slings, jail cells, BSDM, and other equipment. The attic is an open play area with couches and a television.

Clientele consists mostly locals, but there are a good amount of tourists as well. Most of the
action occurs in the steam room and the dark maze.

Sauna Equateur – Strasbourg

A small community sauna. It is on the second floor in a very discreet location. It is not marked. Ring the buzzer and they'll let you in. Entrance was about 20 euros. The whole facility is one floor. The staff is friendly and accommodating towards foreigners. There is a small bar. There is a dry sauna, steam room, showers, and a surprisingly large dark maze with a video room. There were quite a lot of people on the Monday I went. Clientele was pretty much all locals.

Belgium

Macho – Brussels

The main sauna in Brussels located a few minutes away from the city center. There are many floors to this place.

1st floor is the wet floor with sauna, showers, steam room, outdoor patio, large jacuzzi. There is also a fully stocked bar. Most of the action occurs in the steam room.

2nd, 3rd, and 4th floor has the mazes and rooms. Plenty of private cabins available with lube dispensers. There are several public play areas and video rooms. There is a gym at the top floor along with a sundeck.

The clientele is pretty diverse with a wide range of ages. There are men from all over the world who attend. Many insanely hot men here. It is busiest on weekends afternoons to early evenings.

Netherlands

Sauna Nieuwezijds (Sauna NZ)– Amsterdam

The most popular sauna in Amsterdam. It is only located a few steps away from the city center. The sauna is only one floor. There is a bar with a large lounge area; admission includes one free drink. There is a steam room, dry sauna, and a jacuzzi in the wet area. Dark mazes and public play areas take up most of the space at this facility. There are also video rooms. There are private cabins available. Clientele is pretty diverse.

Germany

Der Boiler – Berlin

The most popular sauna in Europe, probably the most popular in the world. It's very large. Large wet maze. Two saunas with set at different temperatures. They perform aufguss in one of the saunas. Large dark maze with a few rooms with videos playing. A lot of men across the spectrum. Can get very overwhelming. One of the few saunas I've been to where the crowd skews younger.

Phoenix Sauna – Cologne

A very large and clean sauna. Plenty of private cabins. There are two floors.

1st floor has the showers, private cabins, maze, dark rooms, public play areas.

2nd floor has several dry saunas set at different temperatures, an outdoor lounge area, and the bar. One of the more impressive saunas I’ve been to. I went twice both on a Monday and Tuesday.

There were only a handful of people on Monday. There was a decent crowd on Tuesday. I can only imagine how weekends are. They have aufguss (aromatherapy) in one of the saunas between 6 pm to 10 pm on the hour. They infuse essential oils in the steam room (burns my eyes honestly). This was one the more impressive saunas I've been to, rivaling Boiler.

SAUNAWERK – Frankfurt

Several floors. The layout is kind of all over the place. The wet floor has the showers, saunas, and a foam room. The steam room on the second floor with a dark corner. The jacuzzi and a large pool is also here. Plenty of cabins available at the maze. There is a smoking corner in the maze that isn’t separated by walls, so smoke can be smelled throughout a good section of the maze. There is a large outdoor lounge area. There is bar next to the lockers. A good mix of clientele.

Achilleus Men’s Spa & Gay sauna – Nuremberg

This facility is quite large. There is a full service bar, dry sauna, steam room, and plenty of public play areas/lounges. The steam room is very impressive. It’s huge with cold mist shower heads inside. There are plenty of private cabins available in the dark maze.

Sauna Deutsche Eiche – Munich

This facility is a sauna and a hotel combined. You enter through the same entrance as the hotel. There is a dry sauna, large steam room with three sections, jacuzzi, and showers. There is a fully stocked bar and restaurant. There is a good sized maze with plenty of private cabins. One of the nicer saunas I have been to. The clientele did skew older the few days I went.

Czechia

Babylonia – Prague

The facility has two floors. On the top floor are lockers and a full service bar. The lower floor has a sauna, steam room, showers, and wet maze. There is no maze but there are about 10 or so private cabins. A lot of play happens in the open area (a large dark room with a television playing). There are special events during the week. Friday is foam party; it was extremely busy when I went. Plenty of younger guys during the weekends.

Austria

KAISERBRÜNDL – Vienna

A very large sauna. Entry includes locker rental and private cabins are available without an extra fee. Flip flops are available to rent as well. There are two floors. On the upper floor, there is a bar and the lockers. The lower floor has the main facilities. There are two dry saunas set at different temperatures, a steam room, and an unheated pool. The steam room has a smaller blacked out section, while the main section is pretty well lit. The steam room is where all the action starts. It’s often as packed as sardines during busy hours. There are two large mazes separated by a large bar. There are several public play areas with movies playing integrated within the mazes. It’s pretty easy to get lost. Some areas are very dark. There are steps where it’s inadequate lighting, and there are quite a lot of people who stumble on these steps including me. Condoms are provided for free. I do not recall if lube was provided for free. There is a wide variety of clientele that ranges of all ages and body shapes. A lot of hot, young Europeans. You will encounter some of the hottest men here.

Hungary

Magnum Sauna – Budapest

There are special events depending on the day, so watch out for that. I went on a Thursday, which was bisexual day where women were allowed. There were quite a lot of people despite it being a weekday. There were a small handful of women who stayed in the public areas, mostly in the bar. The sauna has several floors. There is a bar near the entrance. The upper floor has several saunas set at different temperatures. Large maze with several rooms that have videos playing. Plenty of slings and glory holes. There is a large steam room with a section that is blacked out and a small cold plunge bath.

Italy

Note: an annual membership is required to enter many gay spaces in Italy including gay bars/clubs. Most venues use the ARCO card, which costs 10 euros.

Appolion – Rome

The newer sauna in Rome. An annual membership (ARCO) is required that costs 10 euros, so bring your ID/passport. The staff here is friendly and speaks English. Drinks, food (snacks and sandwiches), and sex amenities can be purchased at the front desk. The sauna is one single floor. There is a sauna, steam room, showers, and a large jacuzzi. The sauna is a bit on the smaller side. The steam room is moderately sized and moderately illuminated. There are several large rooms with chairs and televisions playing. Plenty of gloryholes. There are many free private cabins available. Popular times are on weekends between 3pm to 11pm or so. Plenty of tourists come here as well.

Illuminated (Now Adam) Sauna - Rome

Membership is required to enter this sauna. It is different from ARCO. It is 10 euros a year (bring your ID/passport). The sauna consists of a single floor. The place does show its age but everything works. There is a sauna, steam room, showers, hot tub, and a hallway with about 20 private cabins or so. There is no dark maze. The sauna and steam room are very spacious and more illuminated than most saunas. There is large lounge area with a bar. I went on a Saturday evening and the clientele skewed older. Go to Appolion if you prefer younger.

Metro Club Milano – Milan

The entrance can be a bit tricky to find. It is located inside a courtyard. Look for the small signs outside the door. Buzz in is required. There is an annual membership (ARCO) which is required for 10 euros, so bring your ID/passport. It shares the same membership as many other bath houses in Italy like Appollion in Rome. There is a full service bar. There is a large pool with a waterfall feature. There is a dry sauna, steam room, and plenty of showers. A fully stocked bar. The upper floor has plenty of private cabins and a video room. The facilities are kept very clean. I went on a weekday, and there were a good handful of people. Popular times are weekends between 4pm through 11pm or so.

Switzerland

Gothicsauna – Lugano

A small community sauna located in Switzerland near the border of Italy, so you’ll find plenty of Italian men here. Towels and slippers are provided at no additional charge. The facility is three stories.

1st floor - the check-in area along with the lockers. There is also a snack bar.

The basement is the wet floor with a jacuzzi, dry sauna, steam room, and showers.

The upper floor has private cabins, slings, and a video room.

The place is kept very clean. The staff is friendly. I went on a weekday, and there were a small handful of people.

Sauna Gay Casanova – Barcelona

The most popular sauna in Barcelona. There are several floors. The ground floor has a large lukewarm jacuzzi, dry sauna, and steam room. There is a full-service bar. There are plenty of private cabins available. Plenty of lounge areas. There are several public play areas.
