Not chasing perfect. Just chasing better.

Not chasing perfect. Just chasing better.

Been putting in the work at the gym for a while now, and lately I’ve started noticing the little changes …broader shoulders, a thicker back, better arms, and overall a physique that finally looks like the effort I’ve been putting in.
Still a long way from where I want to be, but that’s honestly what I like about it. Every workout is basically a reminder that the version of me I’m trying to build doesn’t exist yet.

Progress check? Thoughts?

72 kgs on the left. 75 kgs on the right. Almost 40 years of age. 180 cm. Training 4x a week with an upper / lower split. Took me about 6-7 months. Protein at 1.4-1.6 g / kg. Been in the fitness space for 10 years. Let myself go for a bit. Someone who enjoys working hard but also being optimal and time efficient. Studied. Researched. Learnt. Applied. Found the best routine for someone of my lifestyle, work. In short, context matters.
