Average Tuesday doodle (by me)

Finally posting one instead of letting it sit in my gallery. Drawn entirely from imagination in Sketchbook using markers and brushes. Still trying to get better at anatomy, proportions, and cleaner linework, so I'd appreciate any constructive criticism <3

This is my very first time and I would love some advice and constructive criticism

This is the first time I have ever drawn something more complicated than a flower in a pot. I would love some advice from more experience artists in hentai-style art or some resources/practice tip. thank you to whoever would give me some tips or tricks and you can comment or just DM me if you have thoughts

How have you/did you structure your practice?

Hey everyone. I have recently taken up drawing again after years of not. I was always a "doodle drawer" rather than seriously studying the form. I will be honest, some of my interest was spurred by art I've seen at recent conventions iv gone to, and it sparked a light to try again.

However, as stated, I never formally studied, and only ever used paper. There are so many resources now that it's honestly overwhelming and I am not sure how to structure myself. I fall into the trap fo thinking "should I only do drawabox for next year or two" or "do I only gestures for a month?".

How do you structure you practice day by day, week by week? I added aome drawings over the last week iv done sporadically, but I need to get onto the discipline of drawing daily - but I want that to be making progress.

Thanks yall.

Always feel frustrated to start learning from basic again and again…

Hi there, just want to write something here to share my feeling and vent around.

I’ve been doodling on and off many years since I was a horny teenage young boy and now on my mid 30s.

In my mind I really want to draw better but always get hesitated and eventually rarely get any output…
After a while I’d put on the pen and draw again but feel really bad as it’s like forgot everything I’ve been learned and need to start from beginning again…

I like to follow on one style to draw something horny in one style, but I just can’t keep the characters look like them .

If you see the first 4 pics these are from over ten years ago, the last pic is today’s doodle, you can see not much improved, maybe even worse than other of my sketches or doodles.

I found maybe this subreddit is the only place that I can express my feeling, as other fb group or forum either ban 18+ stuff or only accept good art, so I write it here, sorry for the rambling

Taking requests (for practice)

As the title says, tell me what you want to see and I’ll get some practice in by trying to draw it!

I’m not guaranteeing quality, or a timely delivery, but I’ll try to get to everything commented sooner or later and I’ll do the best I can.

Feel free to message directly if you don’t want to comment below. Thanks ahead of time

Mental Block for 2D

I need help/advice from seasoned 2D artists who know what they're doing or have been in a similar situation. Long story short I basically gave up drawing in my youth since I could never do it but after figuring out 3D I want to try and tackle 2D for real since it's a completely different skill set.

I've been watching a wide variety of tutorials(most of them are SFW but some on tiktok and YouTube are those covert ones, you probably know what I mean) but nothing sticks. I seem to have some sort of mental block that prevents me from drawing anything other than a cylinder or cube from imagination. Anytime I try to draw a face it's just a blob and I give up. Watching NSFW artists on Picarto doesn't help either since half of the lines they place seem to just be random yet they obviously are not.

What's worse is I'm scatterbrained with 6 different styles that I would want to emulate, unable to pick one which would likely make my life a lot easier. They also seem to range in difficulty, some emphasizing rendering while others hone in on proportions, line art and expressiveness.

Obviously based on where this is I want to make characters, NSFW focuses. Does anyone have any advice? Maybe a really good tutorial series that focuses in on NSFW 2d? How to find a mentor? Or how to remove this mental block in my head?
