Long time listener, first time caller. I’ve known about DDLG/CGL for nearly a decade. In fact, I used to have a littlespace (and was popular on Instagram back in the day with my text posts).

However, as I started to get older and into my late twenties, I just stopped. I had a lot on my plate and I was just embarrassed about being a little. But it was a huge part of my life.

Well, flash forward and now I have a boyfriend! We’ve known each other for over a year and have been dating for a few months. I never really thought about it until lately that our relationship is somewhat DDLG/CGL coded? He says he is not very much into kink though.

Examples:
When we were at Disney and the loud speaker said to “take small children by the hand” he took my hand.
He said if I don’t behave (consent from both of us has already been given lol) that he would lightly “spank me”.
He sent me a reel that said on the reel “to the eldest burnt out daughters…let daddy take care of it”.
I sent him a reel back that said “I’m a healthy does of ‘yes daddy’ and ‘don’t tell me what to do’” and he reacted with the “😍” emoji.

Well, recently on a phone call he called me his “little princess” which made my jaw hit the floor. He had called me a princess before but never his little princess. Also, it was not a fluke he has said it again.

He also said that a life with him (we were talking about the future) would include lots of Disney trips and cruises, me sitting on his lap while watching the fireworks, and never having to lift a finger.

So, like this is all “daddy” coded right?? I don’t want to bring it up to him to make him uncomfortable since he already said he’s not big into kink. We also can’t talk face to face because he’s military and gone for the next year. So, this is all LDR right now 🫠

Am I overthinking this or could there be something there? Even if not, this is the man of my dreams and I have no intention of leaving him. For me, this would just be the cherry on top!
