During my last trail run

It was a beautiful sunset

Managed to complete the walk before the heavens opened. The view was worth every step

Damals war ich immer alleine unterwegs. Mittlerweile sind wir eine coole Nacktwandergruppe.

Found a small, old trail nearby..

It was a bit steep, but I slowly managed to get through almost 4 km. That incline was tough, but it's a good way to start the week ahead..

Vor der Wingertsbergwand bei Mendig. Das ist eine bis zu 60 Meter hohe und mehrere hundert Meter lange Bims- und Tuffwand am 300 m hohen Wingertsberg, die durch den Abbau vulkanischer Rohstoffe freigelegt wurde. Der Aufschluss dokumentiert den Ausbruch des Laacher-See-Vulkans vor ca. 12.900 Jahren.
