I'm wanting to ask her to protect my cat and other pets in my neighbourhood after receiving some threats and noticing what looked like moth balls in areas our pets like to sniff around. Obviously our pets will no longer be allowed outside of course, but I want another layer of protection for them.

I know I can make an offering of something sweet like bread, honey, wine, milk or even chocolate. Do I place this on my altar when I call to her? What do I do with the offering after? Eat it? Throw it away? When do I do that? Should I light a candle in a sent or colour she likes? I learned that red and gold are good for protection.
