Truly I should have separated from my spouse before even looking for an affair but I can’t explain my logic.

I’m contemplating cheating and have some doubts and fears. I tried to ask for permission but was told it was not given it.

My choices are:

1. continue to hope couples therapy will help us

2. continue to accept the relationship as it is
