What is the longest you’ve taken a break from the club?

just curious what your longest break was to hopefully not feel so awful about it. this saturday will be a month since i’ve been to the club. i have bipolar disorder and have been in a horrendous depressive episode. currently it feels like there’s no end in sight. im trying my absolute best to convince myself to get back working on a regular basis but i feel i need more time. it has been kind of stressful because im not even sure how long my club allows to not show up before you’re no longer allowed to work there. my other question would be what’s the average clubs allow? i’ve heard 60 days.

potentially dumb ass question about moving states and starting at a new club

Ok please be kind i do feel stupid for asking this i just couldn’t find accurate info for a dancer. so ngl i have only been dancing 2 weeks. I started mostly for flexibility and to save up to move. prior to when i started dancing it was already a plan to move out of my state this year i just had to figure out how. well not important but im looking to move very soon. i already know what club id like to work at in this new state, so my question is how do you get approved for a rental since i will not be able to have proof of employment prior? i cant audition at the club until im there. also i was going to go the air bnb route but its a tourist area and they are thousands more than a regular rental! should i try to secure a serving/bartending job just to get a rental and then audition at the club when i move? hopefully i explained this well enough sorry 😫

First official night

I auditioned at the club i was wanting after waiting weeeeks because of how scared i was. i had worked another club for like 2 days and it was horrendously slow and such a frustrating first experience. i made like $50 for 2 nights lol. anyways it went great! obviously i really need to work on what to do on stage because i have no idea what to do for 2 whole songs, and compared to the other girls i don’t get on the pole because im not comfortable. i heard a few girls say it was dead and i still made $300 so im over the moon. anyways im so incredibly sore so i will not be going back until friday my body needs rest to prepare for the weekend. i’m so excited to see what an actual busy day at the club looks like! the only question i have is what do people usually do in vip rooms? i got a guy to get one last night and like obviously he was just trying to f me the whole 20 minutes but what’s normally expected?

second thoughts?

Hi everyone! last time i posted in here i did get some hate so i will try my best to word this more respectfully. If i say anything wrong i apologize im not trying to offend anyone.

So i have been preparing for a couple months now. been watching videos, going to pole classes, seeing posts, i have outfits, and shoes. last month i auditioned at this club but quickly realized this specific club wasn’t a fit for me. I have a better club in mind that im wanting to audition at but ive been a little more nervous than usual so I’ve been putting it off for a few weeks but now i am non stop seeing seasoned dancers post that they do not want to see new faces. yes i am fully aware that the economy is awful and no one is making money like they used to be. their feelings are completely valid which is why im making this post.

i am at a point in my life where dancing is the most suitable job for me and my life atm but i dont want to walk into this new club and ruin everyone’s job just by being there. Of course im not there to make friends im there for me and me only but of course i still respect the other girls and their lives. So yeah i guess im just having second thoughts and even tho i am very committed to doing this im not sure if i should wait until things get better for everyone.? let me know your thoughts!
