Quick follow-up to my last post.

A number of dommes reached out offering “findom therapy,” and I gave it a chance. But honestly, most of those interactions ended up turning into draining again — and yeah… I slipped more than once. I’ve spent over $500 again in just a short time, even while telling myself I wanted control.

There’s still a part of me that clearly craves the dynamic, the attention, the pull… but I’m also tired of ending up in the exact same place every time.

So now I’m questioning things more seriously — does real findom therapy actually exist, or is it just the same cycle with a different label?

Are there dommes here who can actually offer something structured, controlled, maybe even a bit strict, without it just escalating into more and more sending?

Genuinely curious… especially to hear from dommes who believe they do things differently.

I’ve been trying for months to step away from findom, but I keep failing.

I’ve deleted Reddit, X, and pretty much every app that pulls me back in. Still, I always end up returning. I can barely go more than two days before I relapse. It’s frustrating because part of me genuinely wants to stop, or at least regain some level of control, but I feel stuck in this loop.

Recently, I came across the idea of “findom therapy” — where some dommes offer guidance or structured dynamics aimed at helping subs manage or even leave the addiction. I’m curious about this, but also skeptical.

Has anyone here (subs or dommes) had real, positive experiences with this? Does it actually help people get out, or is it just another way of staying in the cycle under a different label?

I’m open to hearing honest perspectives from both sides. If you’ve gone through something similar or have insight into this, I’d appreciate it.
