My wife and I are low 50s, I have a high sex drive and she has a medium sex drive. We have kids at home. We have a vacation of just us two coming up in a few weeks.

My wife has commented previously that she doesn’t like the anticipation of some of these weekends because she knows how pent up sexually I am. It’s not just normal sex, I love getting pegged and it’s really hard to do when you have kids at home who don’t respect your privacy. She also has a tough time letting him go like any mother does when kids are walking around the house.

How do I tone down my absolute thirst for adventurous, very adult sex if I’m not getting it in a several months leading up to the weekend? She finds these weekends a bit overwhelming because she knows I’m gonna ask all of these sexual favors. I do try and plan some non sex for her.

Legitimately trying to find a balance but I’m starved by the time these weekends come around.
