First-timers visiting Cap d’Agde in early September – a few questions
Hi all, we’re thinking of doing our first visit to Cap d’Agde in early September.
This would be our first experience with naturism. The closest we’ve come is dressing sexy and having some fun in lifestyle clubs, but we’ve never done a naturist holiday before.
We’re really curious and open-minded, but also trying to understand what to expect.
A few questions for those with experience:
If we get there and decide full naturism isn’t really for us, is it still perfectly acceptable to enjoy the beach, daytime activities, and nightlife while dressed? Or would we feel like the obvious odd ones out?
As a couple coming from the lifestyle scene, is there any etiquette we should know so we don’t unintentionally give the wrong impression?
Are there specific areas where nudity is expected versus places where being dressed is completely normal?
What’s the atmosphere like in early September—still lively and social, or much quieter than peak season?
And overall, is Cap d’Agde a good place for complete naturist beginners, or can it feel a bit overwhelming for first-timers?
Any advice would be really appreciated.
