I have no idea how this happened, this never happened to me before. I guess I was just doing some work around the house today and I needed to squat down and maybe it happened at that moment, but I don't know for sure. Any ideas how I can get it back in, without taking off the cage?

So yesterday I posted about inserting a permalock into my cage for the first time and it turned out it was wayyy to small. The cage was able to freely giggle around and at night it even slipped out of the two holes that hold it on the ring. This caused my balls to slip out and the cage was only held by my PA piercing. Obviously I had to remove the cage.

Today I decided to find some kind of "padding" to put around the permalock, so it would behave as if it were thicker. While going through my "box of random shit" I then discovered a bag of wooden pegs for IKEA furniture. The peg is just slightly wider than the hole for the lock, so I was able to squeeze it in using some pliers and a lot of force.

I guess now it's my diy permalock? Pulling it out is impossible with hands alone and even with pliers it would probably take a lot of force and effort. I thought about cutting off the bit that sticks out, just to be extra sure, but I don't think it's necessary.

Do you guys think the fact that it's made out of wood could become a hygienic issue? It will easily get soaked with water and might house bacteria, but it's also nowhere near to actually touching my skin, so maybe it's safe?
