8 days post op everything seems to be healing well. A few days ago pee started flowing out my penis stocked me, i felt it coming out and it seems to me happening more often. I called the office to make sure that was normal since I’m still peeing out the catheter. The flow feels way better coming out my penis feels more natural. Guess that’s a sign my urethra is healing properly.
Today I had my first post op appointment with Dr. Chen. He removed the pee bag and informed me that I’ll have the catheter in for a month, to give the urethra time to heal. He said everything looks great and to continue taking things slow even if I feel like I’m getting better.
I had full Meta with dr. Chen everything went great not really in much pain. The pain mainly coming from the catheter, again not much pain been taking the pain meds. Also I have high pain tolerance when it comes to surgeries. I’m from Atlanta used Kaiser Permanente Georgia everything was covered, didn’t have to pay a thing. I don’t feel like writing a paragraph so if you have anything questions Just ask. By the way Dr. Chen is a fantastic surgeon I see why he is highly recommended.
