Comfort Grip Extener UK Review

Hello everyone. Today I’m going to be reviewing the Comfort Grip Extender UK and also the 3-pack of silicone bands, invented by Richard Connell.
I personally use the Comfort Grip Extender UK with the HPE (Hog) Extender, although the grip can be used with an extender setup according to its intended design.
A big thank-you to Richard for creating these products and for being available to answer my questions and emails.
I also want to mention that Richard has said a Grande version is planned for release during the autumn season. This upcoming version is intended to accommodate men who need a larger size. The current version can still work for larger users, but based on my experience, getting everything positioned properly can require a little more time and effort.
What’s Included
Inside the package, you have the instruction manual, the top twisting portion that secures the device to the extender, the main grip itself, the green silicone band and the adapter piece for attaching an extender if you are using a different type.
The top portion is 1 and 15/16 inches diameter measuring across. The bottom portion is 2 and 1/8 inches diameter measuring across.
There is also an optional 3-pack of silicone bands available separately. These come in +1, +2, and +3 thicknesses. The higher the number, the thicker the silicone band.
Build Quality
The build quality is one of the things that impressed me most.
The plastic components feel very solid and, in my opinion, are definitely on the heavy-duty side. It doesn’t feel like a thin or flimsy piece of plastic that I’m going to accidentally break during normal use.
The silicone components also feel durable and well made. Based on the construction and materials, I would expect these pieces to hold up for a long time with proper use and care.
Obviously, long-term durability can only really be judged after extended use, but my first impression of the construction is very positive.
Fit and Setup
Before using the device, I recommend following the manufacturer’s instructions and making sure you have an appropriate protective barrier between your skin and the device.
For my personal setup, I found that using a silicone sleeve along with self-wrap material provided additional comfort and helped me maintain a more secure fit.
However, there is a balance here.
If you add too much material, the setup can become unnecessarily thick and make insertion into the grip more difficult. I found that I needed to experiment with the amount of wrapping to find what worked best for me.
I also found that gently squeezing at the base and gradually working the grip into position made the process easier.
For additional comfort, I personally use some protective material (self wrap) around the glans area as well, which helps prevent direct contact with the plastic.
Everyone’s anatomy and preferred setup will be different, so what works for me may not necessarily work the same way for someone else.
Securing the Device
Once everything is positioned correctly, the top portion can be screwed into the bottom grip section.
One important thing I would recommend is not over-tightening it.
You want it secure, but you don’t want to tighten it so much that it becomes unnecessarily difficult to loosen afterward or creates excessive discomfort or pain.
Once the grip is secured, you can attach your extender and adjust the extender according to its instructions.
Slippage — My Experience
This is probably one of the biggest things I wanted to discuss because it was something I specifically paid attention to during my testing.
I’ve been using the Comfort Grip Extender UK for nine days total, and during this time I’ve experimented with different amounts of protective wrapping and the different silicone bands.
For me, using an adequate protective layer on the shaft and some on the glans made a noticeable difference in maintaining a secure fit.
My preferred setup is a silicone sleeve combined with self-wrap material. I found that this combination provided additional grip and comfort.
However, I wouldn’t recommend simply adding as much wrapping as possible. Too much material can make the device significantly more difficult to fit properly.
The amount of wrapping required will depend on the individual. Some men may need less, while others may benefit from more.
For my particular setup, having enough of the shaft appropriately protected, along with wrapping the glans and making sure the top section was securely tightened, helped minimize movement during use.
Silicone Bands
The original green silicone band that comes with the device performed well for me.
However, I did notice a very small amount of movement during use with the green one, where the band shifted slightly away from the grip. This was minimal in my experience.
I also experimented with the additional silicone bands.
For me, the +2 band provided the amount of additional thickness and grip that I preferred.
I think experimenting with the different bands is worthwhile because everyone’s fit will be different. The band that works best for one person may not necessarily be the best choice for someone else.
Grande Version
Another thing I’m looking forward to is the upcoming Grande version.
Richard has mentioned that it is expected to be released during the autumn season and that it will be designed for men who require a larger size.
For me personally, a larger version would likely improve the comfort of the device because the current version is somewhat tight for my particular flaccid size. However, it still works. It just takes a little more effort to get positioned properly.
My Ratings
⭐ Quality — 5/5
The quality is excellent in my opinion.
The plastic components feel solid, substantial, and well made. It doesn’t feel cheap or flimsy, and I don’t anticipate having problems with it breaking under normal use.
The silicone components also appear to be durable and well constructed.
Obviously, only long-term use can determine exactly how durable anything is, but my initial impression is 5 out of 5.
⭐ Comfort — 4/5
I’m giving comfort a 4 out of 5.
The main reason I’m not giving it a 5 is that the current version is somewhat tight for my particular size.
It’s still usable, and with the right protective setup I find it reasonably comfortable, but I believe the upcoming Grande version would be a better fit for me personally.
For someone who fits the current size better, the comfort rating could potentially be higher. I also found that the silicone sleeve provides some compression, which helped make positioning and entering the device easier for me.
⭐ Device Support — 5/5
This is another area where I have been impressed.
Richard has been very helpful when I’ve had questions, and my experience has been that he responds to questions and emails relatively quickly.
Having an owner who is willing to communicate with customers and provide support is a major positive in my opinion.
⭐ Ease of Use — 5/5
The device is very straightforward to set up.
Once you figure out the amount of protective material and the silicone band configuration that works best for you, setup doesn’t take very long.
There’s no complicated process involved.
For my setup, I put on the protective sleeve, add additional wrap to my shaft and glans, position the grip, secure the top portion, attach the extender, and I’m ready to go.
⭐ Durability — 5/5
Durability — 5/5: After my initial testing, the materials feel extremely solid and durable. The plastic components are substantial rather than flimsy, and the silicone bands also feel like they’re built for repeated use.
⭐ Stability / Grip — 4.5/5
After experimenting with different protective layers and silicone bands, I found that I could achieve a very secure fit with minimal movement during my testing, especially using the silicone sleeve paired with self wrap. In my experience, this combination made a significant difference in maintaining a secure fit.
⭐ Adjustability — 5/5
I really like the multiple silicone thickness options because it allows me to fine-tune the fit instead of being limited to one configuration. The additional silicone bands are sold separately and are not included with the Comfort Grip Extender UK.
Overall Rating — ⭐ 4.5/5
Overall, I give the Comfort Grip Extender UK device 4.5 out of 5 stars.
The biggest positives for me are the build quality, simplicity, adjustability through the different silicone bands, and the customer support from Richard.
My only significant criticism is that the current version is somewhat tight for my particular size, which is why I’m especially interested in trying the upcoming Grande version in Autumn.
After nine days of use, I’ve found that getting the right combination of protective material, wrapping, and silicone band thickness is important for achieving the fit and comfort I prefer.
Final Thoughts
Overall, I’m very pleased with the Comfort Grip Extender UK after nine days of testing. The build quality is excellent, the device is straightforward to use, and having different silicone band thicknesses gives me useful flexibility when trying to achieve the fit I prefer.
I’m particularly interested in trying the Grande version when it becomes available because I believe the larger size could improve the comfort and ease of use for someone with my particular fit. Overall, I’m very happy with the product and look forward to seeing how the Grande version compares.
