See a lot of people planning their first visit to Paradise Lakes. Figured I would share what to expect.

Your first time visit can be a little anxiety inducing… New place… New people… Never done anything like this before…. Hope this helps, and other Redditors, please feel free to add thoughts, etc in comments.
Upon arrival, you will be faced with 3 entrance lanes (Photo 1) - Use the Blue Lane - B - Once you reach the unmanned guard house, you will see a camera with a call button - Press the button - The line will ring and “Welcome to Paradise”…. Let them know you are headed back to the club/resort ***They WILL need to see your ID on the camera.
They will open the gate for you, proceed to park - Photo 2 shows parking areas - Grassy area is open parking, as well as paved parking on either side of the resort building - Highlighted in Red.
Once you’ve parked, head to the entrance - Photo 3 - Highlighted in Red.
To enter, both YOU and YOUR PARTNER will need to present ID. You will need to fill out a brief, 1 page membership application. They will check your ID against national offender registries and enter you in to the system. You will pay your daily membership fee plus sales tax, and you are good to go.
Your bags will be checked thoroughly. Even if you are staying at the hotel, your suitcases will be searched - They are looking for glass…any glass…perfume bottles, glass sex toys… You name it… If it is glass, it cannot come in with you.
You are allowed to bring in outside tumblers/cups, however, they must be empty. Not even water is allowed. They have several free ice/water dispensers available.
Take a deep breath, you made it. Enjoy yourself.
Photo 3 shows other areas:
- Main Pool (Yellow)
- Conversation Pool (Blue)
- Outside Play Deck (Green)
- Upstairs Play Rooms (Purple)
- Playhouse (Teal) - Entered from BEHIND the bar when open.
Bring plenty of towels, sunscreen, a hat, etc.
I’m sure there are things I have missed, so others, please feel free to add more.
