I'm a 36 year old guy living on the mountain looking to meet new people and hopefully make a friend or two.

Life has been mostly work, food, sleep, and trying to remember what hobbies are, lol, so I want to try and change that a little bit.

I'm pretty laid-back. In my downtime I usually watch TV shows and movies. Right now I'm watching Dragon Ball Z, Parks and Rec, Big Bang Theory, and Friends. I also play video games occasionally, mostly Cities: Skylines 1. It would be cool to find someone else who plays and maybe build a city together.

I'm also into web dev as a hobby. I have a bunch of project ideas that have been sitting around, and with AI coding tools getting better, I'm hoping to finally start making progress on some of them. It could be fun to work on a small project with someone, even just casually.

I'd also be down for stuff like grabbing food, watching a movie, going for a walk, etc.

This is probably going to sound a bit odd, but I figured I'd just be honest and post it anyway lol.

I haven't dated in a long time, and I feel pretty out of practice with the whole thing. Not just dating itself, but even the smaller stuff around it. Talking to someone in that way, flirting a bit, going for coffee, seeing if there's a vibe, that kind of thing.

I'm also currently living at home, which at 35 doesn't exactly do wonders for your confidence lol. I know it's not the end of the world, but it has made dating feel a lot harder.

What I'm looking for is someone who might be in a similar boat. Maybe you've been out of dating for a while too, or you feel awkward/inexperienced/self-conscious about it and would like something that feels a bit more low-pressure.

Don't want to mislead anyone or pretend this is something it's not. I'm also not looking to rush into anything sexual. I guess the best way to describe it is "practice dating", where we both know what it is and can be honest about boundaries and expectations.
