I’m 48, in the Pacific time zone. 6’2, HWP/fit. Clean cut professional look… short brown hair and hazel eyes. I’m Gen X and I feel like I fit the stereotype. I’m independent, resourceful, feel like I can handle anything that comes my way and I’m pretty sure I came into this world jaded.
The usual boiler plate… I am married… I am not looking to blow up anything in my life or anything in a potential partner’s life. This is a bonus…. This is a long term best friend… ideally with benefits down the line. Down the line being the key part. I want to get to know you and build a connection. I know what I want, I know what I’m looking for, and I’m not going to fuck around with games. I want more from this than single word or single sentence responses. Someone who can actually hold a conversation. Though to be fair there’s definitely a time and place for quick back and forth…
I spend most of my time these days watching a ton of softball or flag football on the weekends being one of the team dads that always helps out. Can talk about anything… travel, sports, books, music, maybe even politics. I’m definitely a bit of a nerd at heart when it comes to a lot of things, and I’m an engineer so I’m very left brained and analytical/rational. I workout/run just about daily. Big sports fan, grew up in Colorado so the Denver teams and the Padres. I’m a professional in the engineering industry. I watch way too much Seinfeld and like to bring it back listening to 90s music almost constantly. Last few weeks I’ve been listening to a lot of 90s alternative… Soundgarden, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, etc…
I usually have far too much time on my hands at work and have plenty of time to communicate during the day. Nights and weekends aren’t as available early on but will be for the right person. Those are just the realities of where we’re at, right? I’ll make time for those that put in the effort and make time for me.
