The Ultimate Guide to Traveling While Diapered

Hello! I'm Amanda. I just got back from a long trip to a major theme park and started thinking about putting this guide together. I've been wearing diapers 24/7 for over 2 years now (No CG, sadly :( ), and I thought this guide might help others who are thinking about going 24/7 or are concerned about traveling, handling diaper changes, or day-to-day wear!

Exposure notice: It is NOT okay to expose the general public to your kinks and fetish. This guide assumes you are treating diaper wearing as a medical need and that your interactions with the individuals below (security, housekeeping, etc.) will state it as such. Your clothing choices should reflect your medical need and provide sufficient coverage to prevent indecent exposure.

This guide covers everything from dealing with the TSA, hotels & cruises, theme parks & security, to general wearing tips and tricks. I've broken down this guide into several sections, and you can read through what interests you.

TSA & the airport

Over the years, I've seen a lot of questions and concerns from travelers worried about wearing diapers through the airport, as well as handling spares and changes.

If there's nothing else you take away from this section, take this: The TSA doesn't care why you are bringing diapers through, nor do they care if you are wearing them. They are there for the security and well-being of the general public. They have seen absolutely everything, and your cute diapers won't even make them blink.

I promise you, having worked security myself, they don't care.

However, from a personal point of view, yes! It absolutely is embarrassing to get patted down while being diapered, so here are a few tips and tricks to make your experience a bit better:

  • Baby wipes can and will get flagged often when going through security. They are allowed, but they may flag your bag for a search. Keep them in an easily accessible location; I often leave them in the side pouch of my bag so they don't need to open my bag at all. They'll usually just feel the packaging, or swab it, before letting you through.
  • Baby powder IS allowed through security; however, if it's over 12oz, it will need to be in a separate bin for scanning.
  • If you can, get TSA PreCheck or Clear! On top of the conveniences of not having to take off shoes and stuff, regular scanning can and absolutely will flag you IF your diaper is wet. However, PreCheck/Clear only uses metal detectors (usually), and those issues don't exist. Which leads me into my next tip...
  • Change your diaper before going through security. Wet diapers CAN set off their detectors depending on which one you go through, and can lead to a pat-down. IF this happens, don't panic; ask for a private screening room and tell the agent honestly that you are wearing a diaper. They may still pat you down regardless, but in my experience, as soon as you tell them, they let you go. They don't need to know why you are wearing them, just that you are. I prefer to change into a thick nighttime diaper just before security, so I'm nice and dry!
  • As a final tip, it can be worth it to pack your diapers in a bag ONLY containing supplies needed for changes. The reason being, especially with rolling bags, an airline can request you to check that bag at the gate, which if your changes are in there... That's bad news. Having your changes in a separate bag, OR, in a bag that can be removed from your carry-on, will prevent this. If an airline still won't let you take it on, tell the agent it contains only medical supplies for your personal needs.

Hotels & Cruises

While these are very different in many ways, the actual tips below are 90% the same! When you stay overnight outside your home, you'll obviously need lots of diapers and to change yourself. That means you'll either need to dispose of used diapers outside your room/stateroom, or your cabin steward will take them out with your trash.

If you don't take away anything else in this section: USE sanitary bags for disposal and leave a generous tip!!! Sanitary bags are extremely cheap, and I often double-bag my diapers before disposing of them. For hotels, there's really not much else you need to do here apart from bagging and tipping (It's just the polite thing to do for having to clean up after you)

For cruising, however, there are a few more tips. First, before you even set sail, I highly recommend contacting your cruise line's accessibility department. Give them your cruise departure date, ship, and cabin number, and let them know you need to dispose of adult incontinence products. Many ships have tiny garbage cans in their cabins, and this request will let your cabin steward know your needs and provide a larger can. Also, some cruise lines use different-colored sanitary bags for certain items, and contacting their accessibility department will ensure you have the right color bags.

Certain cruise lines also restrict where certain types of garbage can be disposed of on the ship. So contacting them before your sailing date is a good idea! They can also provide things like waterproof mattress protectors.

For security when getting onto the ship (both on embarkation day and at ports of call), in my experience, there have only been metal detectors, so you don't necessarily need to be clean and dry going through!

Theme parks

Ohh, this is going to be a fun one, haha. Similar to pretty much every other security section I've already covered... Standard metal detectors pretty much everywhere; no worries about being wet when you go through. I think people get caught up on the bag checks because, yeah, unlike the airport or a cruise, which often use X-ray scanners, theme parks use manual bag checks. (At least the ones I've been to: Disneyland, Disney World, Universal... etc.)

So yeah, a security guard is going to see your diapers and changing supplies. And guess what? They don't give a crap. They aren't there to judge you, no matter how cute the designs are; they are there to keep people safe. Even if you have the most childish diapers imaginable, they can't state for certain that you don't need diapers for a medical condition, and honestly, they don't care, haha. Over a week of going through theme park security, dozens and dozens of bag checks going in, no one blinked twice seeing my changes. They see that stuff all the time. Don't make a big deal out of it, and they won't either; it's their job.

As with the last sections for disposal, use sanitary bags! Theme parks have had better accessibility options in their restrooms than other places I've visited, which makes disposal even easier! For instance, at Disneyland, all the handicap stalls had trash cans (and several had sinks, which was amazing!). It made changing a breeze!

You'll also want to consider your diaper choice (covered in more detail below), plus powder, diaper rash cream, and anti-chafing. Obviously, with theme parks, you're doing a lot of walking. And in the middle of August (honestly, who thought going to California in freaking August was a good idea?!?) with the heat being really bad, you need to be really careful of developing a rash or chaffing.

Baby powder is arguably one of the best things to bring on a park day. Diapers or not, a layer of the stuff helps keep everything feeling fresh and dry, even when you are drenched in sweat. I was beyond surprised by how well powder kept me feeling dry and prevented rashes. But if your skin does start to get irritated, diaper rash cream is also a must!

If you're wearing thicker diapers or simply don't have much of a thigh gap, grab an anti-chaffing stick! It's like deodorant that you rub on areas that chaff together, and it helps prevent friction burns. It can be especially great between the thighs if you need it, or your legs are rubbing against your diaper. It's a very cheap addition to your diaper bag, and a must for theme parks!

Last but not least... Bring a spare change of pants and socks... Just in case, as well as lots of water and sunscreen!

Diaper choices

This can easily make or break your trip, and picking the right diaper is crucial! You probably don't want to be stuck in the middle of the Bahamas wearing a cloth diaper and seven boosters, or on a 14-hour plane ride in a super thin diaper. Having options when you are traveling is honestly key to a great experience.

I use a mixture of Tykables and InControls (BeDry's, Night Premiums, and Air Supremes). Knowing the capacity and drawbacks of any diaper before a trip is crucial, especially if you don't want leaks. Getting diapers while traveling can be really tough, if not impossible, depending on where you go, so pack accordingly! I pack extra, not only for being at my destination and needing extra changes, but also in case something goes wrong and we are gone a day or two longer than anticipated.

You'll, of course, have to balance this with space. Diapers are bulky! You can technically vacuum pack them, but there's a reason manufacturers don't do this—it can damage the shell and leak guards. I end up spreading my supply across my diaper bag, my carry-on, and my suitcase. As an added benefit, as you go through changes, you get extra room for souvenirs!

For staying in hotels, you CAN have diapers shipped directly to the hotel, but work with management PRIOR to doing this and have a reservation already booked. On cruises, you cannot, unfortunately. You will need to bring anything and everything you need from a diaper point of view.

Closing comments

Good gravy, this ended up being longer than I expected, haha.

Your key takeaways if you plan on traveling while diapered: Dispose of your diapers in sanity bags, tip housekeeping as needed, pack according to your needs, wear comfortable clothing that conceals your diapers, and security does not give a crap why you are bringing in diapers.

It can certainly be challenging at times to get changed or to bring enough supplies, but if you plan accordingly and are ready for those challenges, you'll have a fantastic, big-girl potty-free vacation!

If you have any questions, feel free to ask me below! :D

Cheers!

Know your place little ones, it's kissing this baby girls squishy bum.

You aren't big enough to cum over anything but diapers. Your entire porn collection should be nothing but loaded diapers. When you cum, make sure you are nice and squishy! Otherwise I'll come and sit on your face 😈

30 [F4A] Seeking Diaper Dom

Straight to the point — I am a baby and want someone to take control of my diapers to train and mold me into the perfect little baby for them!

Hey there! 👋 Thanks for checking out my post! I'm Amanda and I've been in the abdl community for around 12 years. Im in the PNW but want to start online (I'd move for the right person.) I've been wearing 24/7 for just shy of 2 years, but have not experienced any control slips or lack of potty training. It's fun wearing by myself, but it feels like I'm missing something... A caregiver! A mommy or daddy to call my own!

I'd love someone who wants to, eventually, take control and mold me into their perfect baby, whatever that may look like for you! Does that involve me being completely diaper dependent? Maybe a little cuckqueen? Perhaps you think little girls shouldn't cum! Or maybe you want to use my desires to mold me! Or, maybe you think it'd be better if I lived our my life as a baby—anything a baby wouldn't do, neither would do :) maybe you want to blackmail me and show the world what a baby I am. Idk, choose your own adventure and desires, lol.

I'm—if it's not obvious...—a service sub and making my dom happy is a pleasure for me! I'm hoping to find that person that wants to adopt me and make me their own :) I'm sure I'll get plenty of messages... But shoot me a chat request and tell me a bit about yourself, what you are looking for, anddd we'll see what spawns of it!

Cheers!

30 [F4A] Diaper girl for CG, PST/Online

Hi there!

I'm Amanda :) I'm a little seeking a caregiver/dom to call my own! I'm located in the Pacific Northwest, though would like to start online before moving onto in person, if that's an avenue we'd both like to head down.

Since this is the ABDLPersonals... Let's start with the juicy, fun bit :3

I've been a DL for as long as I can remember. I have memories of being the 'baby' when I played house as a kid. It wasn't until my early teens that I put two and two together and figured it out! From there, found the ABDL community and been a Little ever since!

I wear diapers... uhh... often, lol, and it's always felt great... but I feel like I'm missing something. A caregiver! It feels odd to be a baby and to wear/use diapers, and... I just change myself and handle everything on my own. It's lonely, and no baby should have THAT much power :P While I do wear diapers often, I don't get into Littlespace hardly ever, maybe 1 - 2 a month if that.

I'm very kinky, into a LOT of things, the only hard limits I have are: Blood, scat outside dips, BO/stink worship, disfiguration/dismemberment, furry, necrophilia.

Almost every I enjoy revolves around the humiliation of being a little girl and being treated like a helpless baby :)

Onto the (less?) fun stuff!

One of the first things you should know about me, I'm a very very driven person. I work fulltime and am a fulltime author on top of that. I rarely take time for myself (even when I probably should,) and thrive on schedules and structure. I keep and maintain myself and my house to a meticulous level. If I'm not working, doing chores, sleeping/eating, I'm almost certainly working on my books! I love coming up with worlds, magic systems, character arcs, and universes for my stories to live in, and am very dedicated to the craft.

I also really enjoy reading (especially epic fantasy :D) I enjoy gaming too (creative, strategic, or casual games recently.) I enjoy just chilling and watching YouTube, or taking my camera out for some landscape photography (I also own a small wedding photography business.) I love to learn and find everything from astrophysics to engineering to biology, extremely interesting!

I love to travel and explore new things (which is polar opposite of my typically introverted lifestyle... lol) and I try to make it a point to travel internationally, if I can, at least once a year!

I own my house (with my sis,) and don't have any debt apart from my mortgage. I have my bachelors. I am agnostic. Oh and most importantly, I got two kitties! :D lol. I love animals, though I got a small property so cats are perfect for it.

About you:

I mean, I'd be remiss if I didn't say I hope you enjoy me wearing diapers as much as I love wearing them xD. I don't mind if you wear too, but I am a sub! I'd love to find someone who enjoys the kinky side but also we connect on a personal level too! (Please be aware, I SUCK at small talk... I genuinely try but iniciating and getting the ball rolling is not my strong suite >\\\_< YAY being nerodivergent!!!)

If we click, I hate reddit chat... I'd like to move to Discord. I AM fine with photos/video/voice ONCEEEE we get to know each other!!!

If you are interested, shoot me a chat request :) Let me know what piqued your interest, what you are looking for, and... see if you are paying attention, give me the name of your favorite book/book series :D

I try to get back to messages as soon as possible, but Reddit SUCKS for notifications. However, if you don't hear back... You might have skipped a step :P

Looking forward to hearing from you, I got a squishy diaper to go change :P lol.

Cheers!
