rattan cane vs walnut cane
Since my subs bottom broke the last two homemade canes I had I am looking into buying a new one and decided to go for rattan.
Unfortunately I also have a thing for pretty things and the ones I found are looking rather cheap. ( don’t judge me ;) )
The only good looking ones I found are either metal, synthetic material, or wrapped in leather or rubber.
I would prefer wood though.
I also found one made of walnut but I couldn’t really find any elaborate reviews.
Has anyone made experience with both rattan and walnut? Who could tell me if walnut is worth considering?
I like the fact, that rattan bends especially the thinner ones. So you can hear the sound while it whips through the air. I can’t imagine walnut doing that. It might be an alternative for a more thuddy pain and nice bruising though.
I also would appreciate it if anyone knows where to order high quality rattan canes in germany
